Thread: What is the night life in Rio like?

I know that Rio de Janheiro is world famous for its beaches, but I have no idea what the nightlife is like there. I have met some Brazilians, and they seem to be very fun-loving and out going persons, who love to party, so I think I have some idea; but could someone please tell me what the nightlife is like there, and give details about the restaurants, nightclubs, etc. that you can visit there?

The night life over there can be quite crazy, specially during the carnival! If you want to party hard, then you better visit that city during the carnival! That's the best city to party, so if you go there go during the carnival; you won't regret it! Some friends of mine will go there this year

jodiann12...! I have good experience of Le Pre Catelan. It offers better services, friendly staff, friendly environment to their guests. They have also neat and clean rooms which look very nice. I enjoyed my delicious food items. I would love to go there again after us east coast tours from washington dc with my whole family. So I suggest you should go there once.

I never had experince it's night life yet, but aftre reading these posts i would love to do go there for once to have fun with friends. I am sure it would be a good deal...
