How many of you have been to China?

Just wondering how many of us have been to China and what are some must see things to do. I know China is a huge place so what are some of your favorite cities? And what makes them your favorite?

I haven't been to China personally, but a friend of mine is there studying for a full semester. He should be coming back soon, and I'm pretty sure he will come back to tell great stories. I'm not sure I'd like to go to China tho, I've heard their censorship policies are really tough there. Plus I'm really worried about their pollution issues... would love to travel there to find suppliers for my online e-store tho

I've never been to china but think would be interesting to see the location where so many of our products come from lol... darn near everything that comes through America is made from China!

I went back to China, which is my home country, about 6 months ago. I didn't go to any touring place besides I went shopping with my mom and my wife. There were a lot of good places to eat, which I had good times.

I like China, beijing is my favourite place as it is a mixture of modern city life and also ancient culture. The forbidden city and surrounding parks show an area of great history, and it is right next to a modern luxury shopping mall!

I also like that the shops open until late, and the parks and streets are safe to walk through - even during the evenings. Old people often dance in public squares making it a nice family environment.

That sounds like an amazing vacation I wish I could go shopping there as well, there must be a myriad of interesting things to buy there, after all almost everything seemsto be made in China. It's been a long time I see somwthing with a ''made in USA''.

Yes, it was an amazing vacation for both my parents and I . I didn't really expect much when I were going to back to my home country. I was quite skeptical about it because I didn't think of anything that I would be so excited about my trip. It turned out it was one of the best trips I have ever gone.

I have never been to China but it is in the plan where me and my husband wants to go for a vacation. My other siblings had been there and as I had seen from all their photos the places are quite nice to go for a visit. I can't wait already to visit the place.

I went to China just last June for only 3 days. There is actually so much to do there since it is such a big country. I went only to the south side near Hong Kong and Macau. I went to Hong Kong first and then from there I went to Shenzhen, China. (Visas are needed!) It was just about an hour or two away by car. In Shenzhen, I visited Windows of the World. It is a theme park that has 130 reproductions of the tourist attractions all over the world, from the Eiffel Tower, the Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbor, the pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal, and so on. The parks are divided into world regions like Europe, Asia Pacific, Americas and Africa. It felt like I traveled the world in a day! It was quite tiring though because I went in the summer and it was a huge park for me. In the park, you can rent small bikes so that going around wouldn't be so hard. I recommend this place as kids will enjoy it!
