It really depends on what you are looking for, but in general.I would say the north of France would be a lovely place to visit during the winter. The countryside of France will always be a better place to visit than the city.

    Re: Winter Destinations In France

Winter festivities and decorations bring a surreal magic to the city, making for especially picturesque evenings out with the whole family (and can serve as a romantic backdrop for couples, too).

It's low season in Paris, meaning you'll have more of the city to yourself and won't have to compete with hordes of tourists for entry to exhibits, monuments or when making restaurant reservations.

France is known for many great skiing resorts. My personal favorite is Val Thorens. Chamonix is also a good place to visit. So if you're about to visit France in winter I think the best choice is some skiing resort. And there's always Paris, beautiful in every time of the year.

    Re: Winter Destinations In France

Most trips to Paris will involve a stroll through the Tuileries, due to their location outside the Louvre. This is Georges Park. Now summer is running and on a sunny day, the Jardin des Tuileries garden is full; there are many chairs and it's easy to relax...the size of the gardens has a way of dispersing the crowds. I would like to recommend this garden to everyone if anyone visit the France during warm weather. What a nice space!

Jordun!Nice sharing about the park,In the summer season most of the people like to prefer this types of attraction like the parks garden, zoo etc. It is an idle location for the whole family and especially for the kids, and a big source of entertainment for all.Would you like to further guide me about the other parks of the this region.

Thanks Alika. you are right that france is very good place for visit.
Wine, cheese, the Eiffel Tower, snooty waiters – France is famous for a lot of things, and it happens to be one of my favorite countries in the world. It’s beautiful, has great food, great wine, history, and a carefree atmosphere. Its long history lends itself to beautiful ruins, castles, architecture, and culture.you can know more details about france to visit this link. if you want to visit france.you can know more details about france to visit this link. i will give you some tips.
    Food
Buying your own food in France can be very cheap. There are many bread, cheese, and meat shops around. The market is your friend! It’s common to pick up some ingredients and have a picnic.
    Transportation:
The best way to get around France is via the trains.
    Activities
Wine tours cost around $100 USD per day. Most attractions and museum entrance fees cost between $10-20 USD.
    Accommodation
Dorms rooms will cost about $17-40 USD per night with rooms in Paris being on the upper end. Private rooms in hostels will cost $90 USD or more. Budget hotels begin around $70 USD per night for a double room.
I hope you will like my tips.

Nice sharing Dairra! It is very informative post. These attractions are the most famous visiting places in the world. I personally visit in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. It is very beautiful enjoyable places for children. It is fourth of the four Theme Parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake. It is divided into seven themed areas. First of all Oasis Park, Discovery Island, Africa, Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A, Pandora: the land of Avatar and Nighttime entertainment. It is the biggest park in the world.

    Re: Winter Destinations In France

Visiting France in winter can have different meanings. It can be meant visiting Paris and it is really nice to visit Christmas lights during winter. Paris is worth visiting during the whole year. French capital, Paris becomes especially magical during winter. Paris has many shopping boutiques.

Wine lovers can enjoy the third Thursday in November, when the Burgundy region’s annual Beaujolais Nouveau vintage is introduced for the season.

jackbreat ! I would like to prefer pairs for visit. Paris is the capital and the most populous city of France. The best thing that I found there most of the public museum and the monuments are free for European Union. For the sea food and French lover, Paris is the great places and it is the home of some delicious dishes. I enjoyed there numerous dishes but one of my favourite dishes is a moules frites. Here you can also enjoy the French such as lamb, veal, beef, pork etc...
Thinking about to enjoy the best from american east coast tours.
