Where is your favourite place in South of France

Where do you love to go in South of France? Having been several times, my favourite place up until now is Port Grimaud Holiday Marina. We were berthed there last year when we went sailing and I absolutely fell in love with the place. It's so laid back and chilled out. It has a beautiful little square, with a couple of restaurants and coffee shops, where you can spend the evening. It's also only 7kms from St Tropez, my second favourite place in South of France!

St Tropez in the winter, the shops and boutiques are so quaint, and the nougat is the best at Senequier. I like Nice also because our favorite restaurant is there, called La Merenda. There are a couple of places that we have to visit in the future, one is called L'abbaye de la Celle, and the other is La Bastide de Moustier. It is bed and breakfast to the nth level. Also, the drive along the massif de l'esterel is beautiful and the hidden coves and beaches are quite the find! It's nice to spend a day hopping from one spot to another.

My favourite place would have to be Arles. I love it because its a beautiful city with lots of Roman heritage. With its beautiful 17th century mansions, mazy streets, modern museums and wide rolling river; I find it really has it all. I love that city

Nice is a great base. It has the famous Promenade, fashionista shops, lovely food, the Old Tow n, museums and much more. I highly recommend a walk up to the Castle above the city to see the amazing views over the port and Promenade.

Hi, sony I agree with you Arles in France is a very nice city in France. The streets of this city are truly medieval in character: narrow and winding between ancient buildings. Automobile traffic is permitted on many of them, but walking is much easier than driving. I really missed those moment which I spend there.
