Your favorite German city you've visited?

I was born in Germany, and moved to America in 2001. When I go to back to visit, I don't really travel very much. I just see my family in Karlsruhe, Berlin, Stuttgart and Mannheim. If I was to take more of a "vacation", could you recommend a city for me to visit? Is there one that you've been to, that you have enjoyed more than others?

    Munich definitely
Berlin is a crappy place which represents Nazism and communism and not Germany today it is one of the economically worst places of the country all you find there is misery unemployment and for these reasons political extremism such as communists and Nazis.
@ Pharo if you would really live in Germany you should know Friburg is in Switzerland the German city is called Freiburg.
Also the city you claim to live is Lörrach and the other place Ahrweiler

Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg are the worth seen cities in Germany. Although these cities are expensive but abundant in beauty.

Eva!There are many beautiful cities in Germany such as Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich. I visit the Berlin three month ago. It is the capital city of Germany. There are many attractions for visitors like Reichstag building, Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate and Charlottenburg Palace. Charlottenburg Palace is damage in Second World War but it is reconstructed now. It is one of the major tourist attractions in Berlin and beautiful place.
