Thread: Summer in Greece

Is any of you guys visiting Greece this summer? Many people from Europe do, and are most definitely having a blast here.

I visited Greece in the summer for 2 years in a row and I had fun every time. I went to a small island in the East (Lefkada or Lefkas) and I had a great time. I think that if you are looking for fun and for an agitated nightlife you should try one of the big cities like Athens, but I have found both peace and fun on the island. Look it up, it's a great place to be.

When I think of my experience with Greece and its islands, the word fun is not what first comes to mind, the right word is rather "rest". I was on the faraway southern island called Zakynthos or Zante and it was so peaceful and relaxed that I really managed to get a good two weeks rest from everything - my job, my everyday busy life in the steaming big city, my relationship drama. Since that was exactly what I came to the island to do, I must conclude "mission completed" but if I were in the mood to party, I would certainly go somewhere else, perhaps Mykonos or Rhodes where I hear it's fun and dancing round the clock. On the other hand, maybe there are more options to have fun or go dancing even on Zante in the middle of summer, I went there in the late September when things are pretty slow and that's exactly what I wanted so it was OK.

The only problem with going in the summer is the heat. Very hot during the day.

I have always been drawn to go to Greece but have not made it. I am glad to hear there is nightlife, but I think I am with those of you that talk about the peacefulness there. The photos I see with the beautiful coastline and water, plus the pure history, must make it a majestic and interesting place to visit.

Greece has beautiful beaches specially for the summer its environment is awesome for the tourist some of the best in the world actually and hotels which is near to the beaches are good But they are best during the summer season of course...

Right Adam the Greece has various beautiful beaches for enjoyment. I personally visit in Greece before washington to niagara falls bus tour with my husband to enjoy the winter holidays. So I want to share few attractions in this country.
• Acropolis Museum
• Syntagma Square
• Ionian Island
• Colossus of Rhodes
• Acheron River

I am going to Greece this summer too! August is peak time for holidays to Greece as that's when it's sunniest and warmes..Rhodes could be a nice option; nice sandy beaches, blue sea, the city has lots of bars and resturants and the airport is one of the biggest in Greece, the old city is a nice cultural intervention...

Johnnydoe! I have visited greece just once when i was small, and i dont rememeber the weather of greece then, but my uncle has visisted greece a few months before in greece and he no doubt had a blast there

Admire the unique whitewashed island architecture, surf in crystal clear waters and go on some spectacular excursions during the day, but don’t forget to save some energy for the nightlife!

I have never been to Europe, but Greece is my number one destination spot if I had the opportunity. My room mate from college was from Greece and after hearing about the beaches and nightlife I would love to go. Coming from an island myself I just have a thing about visiting beautiful places with beautiful beaches.

Greece is the best country of Europe. it is famous for its two mainlands and thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. I like to visit there in summer holidays. it is a best time to visit there and tourists can enjoy the nature charming views. Many visitors go there and and spent their holidays.

Summer in Greece is a nice plan . I am so sure who will visit this place will definitely come back with pleasant memories. I am going to share some attraction names which tourist can explore during summer. so guy her we go.

What will you say about bus tours from new york to niagara falls????

Corfu island is a really beautiful destination for travelling point of view. I like to share with all of you my family ready for summer vacations. Because we will go Corfu island for having fun. I want to know some names of accommodation about Corfu island, Can anyone like to share with me? I will like to go Corfu island after finishing my Montmorency Falls tour

No i never been there in summers yet but i do agreed with you that would be a blast of fun for a visitor in summers.

Greece must be an ideal place for summer. I am personally in love with it and had a visit over there about few years ago with my dad. That was my life's best part and still all memories are so fresh in my mind and wish to have another tour there with my father some day to refresh those relish memories once again.

Greece is such an awesome sort of place which offers plenty of the attractive places to have fun on., I am quite sure that if someone of you haven't been to there will be have very much awesome sort of time at any of the thing like this out. Kinda sure that trying stuff like this would be just so much awesome.

Well, You all have shared such nice and mind blowing stuff about the Greece. I have been visited there once in my life and had a great time there ahead. i will like to say that just keep it more up and have a great time there ahead. by the way, need to know some names of its attractions cause i will be there after my bus boston to niagara falls.

I have never seen any kind of these views in this country with my own eyes. All the shared views of this region are heart touching. After seeing these images, my heart said that I must explore this region at least one time in this summer vacation. Would you like to share with my three views places names? I will see your next reply after my boston to niagara.

That would be a quality time which is one way to keep things moving and making traveling experiences even more appealing which is the best par of finding how reasonably this would way out would work for us bus tour to niagara falls from NJ is a part of which is amazing.
