Thread: Anyone have a favorite Greek Island?

I think it depends on what you are looking for: if you want magnificent sunsets and wine...Santorini. If you want a big party all the time...Mykonos. If you want history...Crete. Anyone else have a thought.

While not exactly part of Greece, I really loved the "Greek side" of Cyprus. Amazing weather and the ocean is just so damn beautiful! Ohh and the food.. I'm hungry now.

My friend visited Greece last year and loved it. I saw the pictures and videos and I have to say, Santorini and Crete are beautiful places. I'm not sure about Mykonos or any other islands, but from what I did see, Greece has this old world charm about it. I would love to visit someday, it's definitely on my list.

I would suggest a spring or fall visit. I am dying to go back during the wine festivals in October.

Santorini is my favorite Island because its shape is favorite and heart touching it is absolutely beautiful.brightly painted little houses tumble down the Cliffs in a maze of little lanes little stalls around the beaches are in good and increase the beauty of the Island...

My most favouriote Island in Greece is Zakynthos, Ionian Islands. This is the most beautiful and peaceful Island in the whole Greece. I always love to visist the beach.

The Zakynthos Island is the third largest lonian Island of Greece. which looks very attractive. it is my favorite attraction because of its water spots and nature beauty. I went there about one year ago with my friends during my Greece tour. we had great fun there. it is an ideal destination for nature lovers. The number of tourist go there every year.
