    Travelling in India

What would be the best way to travel within India. I am only concerned only about the environment the railways provide and not about the price or ticket or expenses. I just want to travel in a hygienic and comfortable environment. Thanks.

    Re: Travelling in India

Between one state and another, the best way to travel is, undoubtedly, by flight. Trains are not maintained well enough and even the A.C two-tiered compartments are not up to mark in some of them, as far as customer service is concerned (hygiene shouldn't be a problem though). The other best option of course is to rent a car and use it to go wherever you please. It takes away a lot of your time yes, but it'll be your best option if you want to keep things neat and clean.

Seeing as price doesn't matter, if you are doing a longer distance, I'd definitely recommend flying.

It has always been a dream to travel to India for I am greatly intrigued with their religion. It's like they have deities to every need. I do not mind how poor their public transports are, I want to go there!

    Re: Travelling in India

Flight may be the cleanest way to travel, but I think it misses out on part of the Indian experience. A first class train ticket might be a good compromise that provides comfortable travel while also keeping the traveler connected to the environment. Expect to see some amazing scenery while rolling through almost any part of India. Generally India isn't the most comfortable place to travel, but for money anything is possible.

Flights obviously save time etc but if you can get a 2 tier AC train or first class it's pretty good too. Not nearly as bad as people here would make it out to be.

I think train will be the best option. It is safe and cheap. Also railway communication is really good in India.

Well Dairra77 here I have plenty of stuff for you about the Banff National Park. I used to visit this park multiple times and every time it looks new. It is most famous and busy attraction that we just found in Canada. During the warm weather you can enjoy their boating at the Banff Lake in big amount of water. Banff Lake Cruise provides a unique sightseeing tour experience with one of two 43 passenger Lake Cruisers. There has also been a large variation between daytime and night-time temperatures.

However to know the running water of Banff I recommend to you this site Banff National Park: Weather & When to go - TripAdvisor. So, good luck and have a nice trip.

    Re: Travelling in India

The Las Vegas Monorail runs from the MGM Grand to SLS Las Vegas. The route has seven stations: MGM Grand, Bally's / Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's / The Quad, Las Vegas Convention Center, Westgate Las Vegas and SLS Las Vegas. The monorail is open Monday, 7 a.m. - midnight; Tuesday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 2 a.m.; Friday - Sunday, 7 a.m. - 3 a.m. Rates for the monorail start at $12 for an unlimited one-day pass for one person. Multiple-day pass options are also available.Depending on where you are staying, your proximity to a monorail station varies widely. If you are at the Las Vegas Hilton the station is literally right outside the door. However, if you are staying at Bally's or Paris Las Vegas your walk to the Station feels like a trek down the strip. The Las Vegas Monorail does not always prove to be the most convenient form of transportation. for more details visit this link

Yes, it is. Indians are very educated and learn to speak English in school. You might want to learn Hindi (not hindu) just for benefit because it is the national language along with English.
