Turin is a beautiful city. It is an important business and cultural centre in northern Italy. It has many attractions for its visitors such as the Mole Antonelliana, Museum of Oriental Art, Palazzo Carignano and Palatine Towers.

    Museum of Oriental Art
I have been there before my visit to moraine lake banff national park. The museum of Oriental Art is a museum which is located in the city of Turin. It has an Asian art collection. In the ground floor you can be seen the collection from the Gandhara, India, and Southeast Asia. On the first floor of the museum, display the Chinese collection where as the second floor has a Buddhist collection. The third floor is devoted the Islamic countries’s collection like which comes from the Iran, Iraq and turkey.

Turin city of the mystery, because it is called “the city of the devil”.This city has been the Italy capital, and this is still evident in its architecture. Nowadays Turin is also the seat of important and numerous cultural initiatives and the monument symbol of the city is the Mole Antonelliana, that today houses the National Museum of Cinema.

The city is the birth town of the first King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy. Also born here were some of the major political figures and influential thinkers of that time, among whom Cavour, a leading figure in the movement toward Italian unification and Italy’s first Prime Minister. Nearly all of Italy’s history leading to the unification was centralized in Turin.

    Ok

This time we want to see more of the countryside and less "touristy" spots.

We are trying to decide between two iteneraries right now.

I spent one night in Turin last year and was quite impressed, always thought of it as a place where all they did was make motor cars!

Museum of Oriental Art is the most famous destinations of Turin. I have been there about two years ago with my few family members. I had great experience there with art work. It is an ideal place for painting lovers. So I suggest you should go there once.

Museum of Oriental Art is also my favorite too. I have visited there once in my life and must say that the building of the Museum is beautiful and well maintained. It offers true representation of the art, history and culture of its people. The galleries, crafts, the paintings are awesome. It was a very informative tour for me and will like to visit it again in future.

I love Torino and the whole of Piedmont and I am always afraid to admit I prefer it as a city to Milano in front of any Milanese. I always tell people it’s a must see city.
