What you mentioned is 100% correct. There are many lakes and Italy but there are some very popular and famous destination. Talking about the Lake Como then i would like to inform you that it is the most popular lake and a top romantic destination. Similarly we have Lake Maggiore, Lake Bolsena and Lake Trasimeno. I never thought about this in terms of a trip to Italy. I wonder how many you could take in if you had a limited time? What major cities or regions are close to the lakes you have mentioned?

Well if you make a good plan, i think you could visit all of them in maybe 2 weeks. But in my opinion it is better to select just one or maybe two, and spent 1 week there, because they are very very beautiful.

All Italian lakes having something special in it. Last summer in holidays I visited “Lake Trasimeno”. It is a nice place to visit. It is located in green heart of Umbria, surrounded with white water lilies .A true paradise home for wild ducks, cormorants, kites and kingfishers and many kinds of beautiful birds. Several towns are located on this attractive place some of them are directly face the lake. They are affected by the charm and attractions of this water sheet. One of them is “Castiglione Del Lago”. This castle represents an attractive and joyful scenery & big example of peace.

You must visit Lake Trasimeno. I can’t explain beauty of this lake in words. Located in Perugia great historical place also known as city of universities. Lake is located in south of pro river a heavy flow river. The river flows throw many important Italian cities. In north side nearby Tiber river. That is also a reason of attraction for tourist.

Lake como is my favorite lake in Italy. It has an area of 146 square kilometers and it is the third largest lake in this country. According to my opinion September and October are the best time to visit this Lake. During this time period I want to suggest to you go there to see the natural beauty of God.
