    Hell's Gate National Park

Do you know that some scenes of the Lion King's trilogy were actually developed from Kenya's beautiful Hell's gate National Park. This country indeed has some beautiful places you can visit, I just Googled it and this and many more places are available to visit.

Has anyone of you visited this country before, if so do you mind sharing your experiences at Hell's gate national park?

No I have never visited there or even heard of the Hell's Gate National Park until now. Sounds like it would be a nice place to visit from what you are telling us here. Wouldn't mine checking it out some time with the kids.

You really should as it is a such a wonderful place to go hiking either on bicycles and on foot. Plus there are sections where you can do rock climbing and navigate through canyons and dry river beds

I didn't know the setting of Lion King was based on a real place! That's good movie trivia. It does sound like an awesome place to go biking. Does anyone know why its called Hell's Gate?

The Lion King borrows a lot from Kenya, not just the scenery. The names used for the characters are Swahili names from one of the main languages used in Kenya. Even the theme song 'Hakuna Matata' is actually a Swahili phrase. I haven't been to Hell's Gate Park yet but it's already on my itinerary for my next trip to Kenya.

I believe it is called Hell's Gate because of the way the canyons are shaped, plus there are springs that ooze hot water from the ground

That's correct, Lion King borrowed a lot from Kenya's Hell's Gate and local language. Hakuna Matata is a Swahili word or rather words which literally means No Problem or No Worry/ Don't worry or don't sweat it.

I'm finally going to Hell's Gate this weekend. My decision was sealed when I re-watched Lara Croft tomb raider !!. Apparently some of the filming was done at Hell's Gate, and from what I saw in the movie, it's amazing!

Hah, I love going places that have appeared in films. It doesn't matter if I've seen it yet, I like being able to recognize someplace I've been on the screen

This park homes to variety of wildlife. It is also notable because of its; hiking, bicycling, and motorcycling and even camping activities.

Hell's Gate National Park is really a lovely and famous attraction in Kenya. I have explored it once in my life. I went there in my childhood with my grandfather. It was an awesome experience of mine. I got lots of fun there and came back with lots of good memories. I will go there again after my niagara falls tour from ny. I will enjoy this tour with my family. We have a plan to do lots of things and activities there. I am sure all of us will be back with smiling faces.

It would be very reasonable to have it all going ahead for us and in the same direction we can get to have ideas like new york niagara falls tour which is one fine product that helps in several ways and it has a huge uncovering which follows the direction in the most generous way for us.
