    Malaysia, Truly Asia?

Is Malaysia worth visiting for a person who just wants to spend his vacations enjoying and seeing attractive places? I really wish to take out time to relax my self and i find Malaysia one of the places i can choose to make my mind feel relaxed.

Definitely! I lived in Malaysia for 25 years. It's a very stable and pleasant country and does not have the touristy feel of places like Thailand. It's also relatively cheaper than Singapore and the cuisine is excellent! There are many places like the island of Penang where you could just relax and take things easy. Life in Kuala Lumpur can be hectic but certainly not like other cities in Asia like Tokyo, Bangkok, Seoul or pretty much any big city in China or Japan.

It kind of depends where you go... but I'd say in general it's a very relaxing place. You don't have the tourism of some of the other South Asian countries, but you have excellent food and a better infrastructure for the same price as say Thailand or Cambodia. If you want to relax, hit up Penang or Langkawi (islands just off the coast). I like Malaysia because it has a very different feel depending on what area you go to. Good luck!

Penang and Langkawi were and still are my favorite places in Malaysia. The cuisine and choices for street food in Penang are amazing! And I do agree with Wombles714 about the infrastructure and facilities on Penang versus Thailand or Cambodia. It is a varied landscape with old town feel of Georgetown to the seasides of Redang Island to the tea plantations of Cameron Highlands. I always feel that Malaysia is a good place to bring the family. Really relaxing.

It depends on what it is you are looking for. Malaysia for me is beautiful and i find their is plenty to see and do. Like visiting the Limestone Caves and the Hindu temples. I love what Malaysia has to offer. I have only been once but I would definitely go again

I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself there! There are so many things to do there, that it's really a matter of "What do I want to do?" rather than "What is there to do?". You can go jungle-trekking, sunbathing, kayaking, visiting temples, shopping or even gambling at the Casino in Genting. I always loved Cameron Highlands and really enjoyed hiking along the beautiful mountain trails with stunning views of the tea farms.

Generally seeing the way it does appeal would be helpful and at the same time taking ideas through the approach trip to niagara falls from chicago would be a very fine impact which helps it all for us to get into the situation and it takes care of a lot with the needs it has to be working on.
