    Kota Kinabalu

Don't forget to visit Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. There are lots of beaches to go to and spend time at, such as Manukan Island. It is a quick 10 minute boat ride from the mainland. If you are into hiking, you can schedule a hike up Mt. Kinabalu which is the tallest mountain in all of the Malayan Archipelago.

Of course, when in Malaysia, do not forget to sample roti canai

There are plenty of guest houses, backpacker's lodges, and hotels to choose from.

It's so frustrating to come upon new places to visit in Malaysia when my itenary is already packed to the full! Yet now I'm tempted to visit Kota Kinabalu! Could you tell me please, how to get to KK from the mainland, the costs, and if it's a full one day trip or a matter of few hours?

    Re: Kota Kinabalu

When I visited Kota Kinabalu it was somewhat disappointing because I was expecting more of a beach lifestyle vacation. I ended up staying in the city and found there wasn't a whole lot to do except wander through a few shopping malls. Perhaps it was the wrong time to go but I didn't find the beach all that nice. There are other things to do of course, like eat at some nice restaurants, go on a hike up the mountain or even go on a wilderness tour. The Kota Kinabalu Zoo had lots of interesting animals and monkeys.

I live in Malaysia but I've never traveled to East Malaysia. I would like to go there some day because I imagine East Malaysia to have more natural and unadulterated beauty. I've always associated Kota Kinabalu with the highest mountain in Malaysia and not the beaches. West Malaysia has more popular beaches but a little too over-commercialized, in my opinion.

Kota Kinabalu is the beautiful city of Malaysia. It offers a lot of attractive places to explore the beauty of nature views. I visited there after my bus tours san francisco to los angeles about few months ago with my Uncle's family during my holidays. We all had great time there and had great fun there through different activities. What will you say about it.

My uncle is going top visit Kota Kinabalu with his family. All my cousins are insisting me a lot to join them. But I am feeling hesitation because it will be my first tour of this city. And have no experience of being there. Maybe I will not feel comfortable with his family so could not enjoy the tour fully. So buddies let me know should I go or not?

According to my knowledge this place is dope! All the experiences that we get to gain in here certainly that expresses an appeal and at the same time niagara falls tours from new york is quite a thing that brings out the best possible impact that keeps on growing.
