you are right Alika.. Mexico is a nice city for visiting.
Mexico City is spectacular! It's full of history and culture with more than 100 major museums, lots of monuments, enormous universities and parks. It's a sophisticated city with 5-star restaurants and hotels, a bustling modern downtown, and one of the world's best mass transit systems. It's a place of history and fascinating sites to see, but often crowded and dirty, just like any huge city.

You are going to Mexico at a great time! The festivals for Day of the Dead are really spectacular- the best in the following cities: island of Janitzio in Lago de Pátzcuaro, Oaxaca, Patzcuaro, Huejutla, Chiapa de Corzo, Jesús María, Tzintzuntzan, Míxquic and Tecate. Since these cities are spread out across Mexico, you really have a great opportunity to choose other attractions nearby. i like most Chiapa de Corzo...

Mexico's official language is Spanish. The pronunciation of Mexicans is softer to make the language easier to be understand. Mexico city provides a large number of cuisines like sopas , tacos, guisados and antojitos. This city is also famous for it's gourmet. In restaurants there is large variety of traditional foods and presenting a wide array of soups and desserts.

Alika! I taste this dish Spanish rice flavored with tomatoes and garlic. My uncle is Chef ; he cook this dish at home. It is really delicious. Here I want to share with its recipe. You make this dish at home easily.
    NGREDIENTS
    2 cups long-grain white rice
1 pound medium Roma tomatoes (about 4 or 5), cored and coarsely chopped
    3/4 to 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
2 medium garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
1/2 medium white onion, coarsely chopped
1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more as needed
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    1 bay leaf
    INSTRUCTIONS
Place the rice in a fine-mesh strainer and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear. Set the rice aside in the strainer.
Place the tomatoes, 3/4 cup of the broth, the garlic, onion, and measured salt in a blender and blend on high until puréed. (You should have 3 1/2 cups of liquid. If you don’t have enough, add the remaining 1/4 cup of broth as needed.) Set aside.
Heat the oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot or Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmering. Add the strained rice and cook, stirring and scraping the bottom of the pot occasionally with a wooden spoon, until the rice is fragrant and makes a crackling sound, about 5 minutes.
Add the tomato purée and bay leaf. Stir to combine, scraping the bottom of the pot to loosen any stuck grains of rice, and bring to a boil. Cover with a tightfitting lid, reduce the heat to low, and cook undisturbed until the rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes. Discard the bay leaf and fluff the rice with a fork, incorporating the tomato layer on top. Taste and season with salt as needed.

    Re: Information about Mexico city

Hey guys, I'll be going there soon, does anyone know of any cheap and safe hotel near ''Universidad Iberoamericana''? I need to stay somewhere over there, but I'm on a budget, can someone help? Also... should I buy the tickets for the taxi before I get there? I don't trust the taxis from the street... I read I better try to catch a taxi from the airport.

By the way, last time I checked I read Mexico city has 22.1 million people already!
