    Vietnam from Southern to Northern

    HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI - MY THO

    HOI AN - HUE - HANOI - HALONG - SA PA

    DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL (L)
    Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This afternoon The sightseeing tour acquaints us with the city's major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to this palace are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Then, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

    DAY 02: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L)
    Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Cu Chi (75 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City) to visit an amazing complex of underground tunnels the former stronghold of Viet Cong with a network of tunnels three levels deep stretching over 200km. Return Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, visit Chinatown, Thien Hau Pagoda, the History Museum (in case this visit falls on Monday we will visit the War Remnants Museum instead)and make a quick photo stop at the former Presidential Palace.

    DAY 03: HO CHI MINH – MY THO – SAIGON (B/L)
    08:00: After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide will take you to the Mekong Delta. Arrive My Tho city, get on private boat (with cover) cruise on the Mekong river(Tien river) visit Quy island, enjoy tropical fruits in the orchard. Continue to a part of Bentre province you will have the opportunity to watch local villagers producing coconut candy in the workshop, 5 minute trekking on the village way and try rickshaw or cart (draw by horse), cruising through the smaller canals on local sampans, try honey in bee keeping house…Lunch at a local restaurant with specialty of Mekong region: Deep fried “Elephant ear fish” rolled with rice paper … Back to HCMC in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

    DAY 04: HO CHI MINH – DANANG – HOI AN (Flight) (B/L)
    After breakfast, transfer to airport for short flight to the central port city of Danang. On arrival Danang airport met and transfer to Hoi An on the way stop to visit Marble Mountain and Cham Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant in Danang. Arrive Hoi An check-in hotel.

    DAY 05: HOI AN
    Breakfast at hotel. Half day city tour to discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An market, Tan Ky old house, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Fukien Assembly Hall. After lunch, take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, visit Thanh Ha pottery village and Kim Bong carpentry village. Back to Hoian. Overnight in Hoi An.

    DAY 06: HOI AN FREE TIME (B)
    Free time for personal visit or relax. Overnight in Hoian.

    DAY 07: HOI AN – HUE (B/L)
    Morning breakfast at hotel, overland to Hue via Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass. Afternoon, visit Hue Royal citadel and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

    DAY 08: HUE CITY (B/L)
    Breakfast at hotel. Take a dragon boat on Huong river, passing Dong Ba market to Thien Mu Pagoda, then visit Tu Duc tomb. Lunch at local restaurant.
    Afternoon is free. Overnight in Hue.

    DAY 09: HUE – HANOI (Flight) – LAO CAI (Night train) (B/L)
    After breakfast, transfer to airport for short flight for Hanoi. Meet and transfer to Hanoi for check-in. After lunch, visit Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Art Museum. After diner, transfer to the train station for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

    DAY 10: SAPA (B/L)
    Transfer to Sapa and check in to hotel upon arrival. The afternoon drive to Lao Chai, staging point for the day’s hike. See the H’mong at work and at play in their distinctive dark blue dress. Continue hiking to the village of Ta Van to visit members of the Zay tribe. Return to Sapa late afternoon. Overnight in Sapa.

    Day 11: SAPA – HILL TRIBE MARKET – HANOI (Night train) (B/L)
    Visit Coc Ly market to meet minority people. Take a boat cruise on the Chay river, stopping at a riverside to meet Tay minorities. Picnic lunch. Transfer to Lao Cai train station for overnight train to Hanoi.

    DAY 12: HANOI – HOA BINH, MAI CHAU (B/L)
    The train will arrive in Hanoi at 5h00 am. Breakfast at a local restaurant then Visit the Ethnology Museum.
    9H30 – Depart Hanoi for Hoa Binh province and the town of Mai Chau. This scenic drive takes around three hours. Along the way, we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies.
    13H30 – Check-in a traditional stilt house of the Thai people situated in a picturesque valley.
    15H00 – After lunch, we begin our trekking. The verdant and rugged mountain scenery combined with the colourful local population makes this an unforgettable experience. Today we walk along gravel tracks and small paths used by the locals.
    20H00 – After dinner, exchange culture with minority people, we enjoy minority dances. Overnight in Mai Chau.

    DAY 13: MAI CHAU – NINH BINH – HOA LU (B/L)
    Breakfast at traditional stilt house.
    8H00 – we have a 3 hour drive (110km South) to the city of Ninh Binh, also known as the “Terrestrial Halong Bay” and the Ancient Capital.
    12H00 – Lunch served at a local riverside restaurant.
    13H00 – It will be an exciting day highlighted, by a 2 hour boat ride in a hand-woven bamboo row boat down the Tam Coc streams enjoying spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks. Visit Bai Dinh pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in Vietnam. Drive to Hoa Lu. Visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

    DAY 14: NINH BINH – HALONG (B/L/D)
    Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Halong, check in board.
    12h15 : Check-in boat
    12h45 : Start cruising
    13h00 : Have lunch on board
    13h30 : A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach.
    17h30 : Relax and enjoy sunset
    19h30 : Enjoy dinner on board.
    21h00: Fishing or relax and spending a night on board.
    *** Beautiful kayaking route from Titov beach to Luon Cave for those who book kayaking option (kayaking time after visit the Sung Sot cave)

    DAY 15: HALONG – HANOI (B/L)
    7h00 : Have breakfast
    7h30 : A morning cruise to visit Man’s head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat, Bai Tu Long bay
    10h00: Arrange luggage and check-out
    10h30: Have lunch on board
    11h45: Arrive at Halong wharf.
    Disembark and return to Hanoi with stopovers at ceramic and hand embroidery workshops en route. Overnight in Hanoi.

    DAY 16: HANOI DEPARTURE (B)
    Breakfast at hotel, visit one Pillar Pagoda, Literature Temple, Quan Thanh Pagoda. Free time until transfer to the Noi Bai airport for departure flight.

    Vietnam is a best place for enjoyment. It is known for its captivating and alluring attractions that to attracts the peoples towards it. It is a best place to enjoy family holidays. I like to visit its natural places. I have been there about few years ago with my whole family. We had lots of fun there and we saw many fabulous places there. It is a best place for all kind of visitors.

    Hyrrin! Your shared information could benefit to others. I have never been to Vietnam. I think, you have a great time there. Would you like to share your Vietnam's experience and its destinations name? So I can go there in next free time and can explore the different places there. I am waiting for your reply.


    My best experience had bus tours from new york to thousand Island

    Arran! I am going to agree with you here shared a great information about Vietnam from Southern to Northern. It is informative for all about traveling freaks. I like it and I want to say that keep it up, in future many new things we will gain from here.

    I like to share with ll of you guys have shared really useful stuff with all of us here, I like it but now I have a plan to go Vietnam for enjoying my free time with my all friends. So I want to know some names of its lovely and enjoyable attraction with friends. So I want to goVietnam after ending my smoky mountain bus tour

    Generally keeping things in a manner that has the best to keep it all for us Bus tour packages to Niagara Falls would always be working big time and that brings so much for us to learn and carries in a manner which would bring a lot of learning which is the way we get to have idea of.

    I am so sure that this would be a great way of fun for all of us to have some fun there for sure. So have a great time there and just try to have some more fun there at adorable places. What say buddy, have you ever been to there?

    I have been there a lot of time in my whole life and every time had huge fun there. It is a best place for outing where the large number of visitors come here annually and have such a nice time there with family and friends. Now my Uncle, have a plan to go to there with his whole family to enjoy coming holidays. I am so sure that it will be a really great time for them.

    Isaac! It's something truly really great thing that you have explored out them which is really a great thing. so sure that it would be really great to you to try up the things like that so much. I ould love to know the point of interest of Vietnam. Do anyone like to share?

    My sister is going to take the new jersey to philadelphia washington dc tour.
