    Driving Into Mexico

Has anybody driven into Mexico from the US recently? What is the safest or easiest entry point? I drove through precidio (very small border town) down to Chihuahua about a year ago, and while the drive was beautiful and remote, the border guards were surprised to see me and held me for hours while they let dogs search my car. Same thing on the way back. Any pointers?

Those boarder crossings are always rigid. You'll probably get checked at any boarder crossing from Mexico to the US if your not American. I'd say act as calm and natural as possible, if your not doing anything illegal you have nothing to worry about. Be nice and try to smile, they might just let you off easy. Friendly advice; Don't honk your horn too much in Mexican traffic, Mexican's have bad road rage.

Driving through precidio down to Chihuahua might not be the best bet for you, since Chihuahua is known to be one of the biggest narcotrafica headquarters... so yeah, I'm not surprised they held you there for hours! It'd be better to through san diego, then going down to Tijuana. You can also enter tru Nogales, I heard the border guards over there are less strict.

I crossed in my car from Laredo, Texas with no problems at all save the normal bureaucratic nonsense like having to register my car and get the sticker put on the windshield and pay for insurance.

Yeah, Laredo is a great option as well, but Chihuahua is not... for very obvious reasons! This zone is known as the golden triangle by the narco lords, so a lot drugs leave Mexico towards the US following that very same route.

Mexico is a best place for travelling as tourism point of view. It is my favorite one travel destination aorund the world. I love this region due to its natural and historical places that grab attentions of tourist each year. I have been there many times of my life with family and friends. It is a nice place to enjoy family holidays. The large number of visitors go there with family and friends and had lots of fun there. What will you say about it?

That would actually be very useful because trying new areas and always getting a useful impact of it would be very decent and in the same way for me Niagara falls bus trips from new york brings the best to learn and for us to have the correct idea which does work so far.
