Talking Vacation to Mexico in 2015

    Hello all!

My husband and I have been thinking about taking a trip to Mexico, probably not until 2015 though. I'm a little nervous about the current level of security and danger involved in traveling there.

Are there any good resorts that you'd recommend? I'm looking for somewhere with an airport that we could fly into and be very close to our resort, without much in between travel needed. Something all inclusive would be nice so we wouldn't have to worry about leaving the resort during our stay.

I'm not very familiar with the areas of Mexico at all as far as safety go. Where are the safest places with resorts?

    Thank you!

    Hi Carrie!

A good place to stay would be puerto vallarta or cancun. Those two places are far enough from the conflictive zones in mexico (the border states). There are many amazing resorts over there, when we we're in puerto vallarta we stayed at a place named ''Golden Crown Paradise Resort''. This place is a 5 starts one, and one of the best in puerto vallarta. It's very close to the airport and it's also close to several touristic zones. I'd recommend that place, it's specially good for couples.

Thanks for the tips! We have had friends go to Cancun who had great experiences there, but I've never heard of Puerto Vallarta. We also have thought about Riviera Maya, but again it's so hard knowing which one to go with when neither of us have been to Mexico. It seems like there are a lot of good all-inclusive deals? We are members of living social and lots of times they seem to have good packages for traveling out of the U.S.! Has anyone used living social escapes?
