It muat be because the awesome gastronomy, and the fact this place is still in Africa, but it still is considered a somewhat safe place to visit. Plus moroccan culture is interesting on its own! People there speak arabic, french and some berber minorities speak their own language. That place is super interesting if you're interested in arab and north african culture in general.

I agree with you lusi. Morocco is famous due to its mosque and other attractions. I visited there only one time with my uncle. The Andalusian Gardens is the best tourism destination of Morocco. Which looks very nice and its lush greenery views attracts the people. I went there about one year ago during my winter holiday.
