    South Korea: Anyone?

Anyone here been already in South Korea? I have heard that this country progressed more, especially when it comes to its establishments. How about the original food? How was it? I love korean foods, but it is always in my thought to try the authentic ones, I mean authentic, like direct and fresh from Korea, especially their noodle soups.

This is one of the countries I want to visit too. It would be great to here some insights from those who travelled already there!

    Thanks.

I think south korea is a way better place than NK to visit! I just read someone's post who wishes to go to NK. I have seen pictures and videos of South Korea, and I can tell you that you just can't compare those two! SK is like any other asian country, it can almost compare with Japan... after all korean fashion is becoming more and more popular I personally love buying korean style clothes I'm sure you will have a lot fun there, NK is just a slave camp in my opinion...

    Re: South Korea: Anyone?

Right now I am living here already in South Korea for six months already because I married a Korean man. So far I had traveled to most of their National parks which are most located in the mountains of every place. Korea is surrounded by mountains that is why the scenery here are refreshing to the eyes. They are well maintained and all the mountains are cleaned and safe for walking. My husband every weekend likes hiking and this what most Koreans are doing after w week stress from work. And I always witnessed the beauty of every mountain we visited. It is nice here in Korea the cold weather, fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy style of cooking. I had loved this place already.

Although it is probably a great place to visit I don't have any plans to travel there. It doesn't have a great reputation for tourism compared with other Asian countries and I have heard it is very Americanised. Perhaps with the increasingly popular K-Pop scene more people will develop a stronger interest to visit.

Nowadays South Korea is a favorite place other nationalities are opting for a travel for a visit or vacation. I dont think it is very Americanized. Maybe because many native speakers are working here as an English teacher and it is good the country is giving jobs to other foreign people here. It is not just only because of the Kpop that other people had a desire to visit the place it is also because of the good climate and surroundings and plus factor also are because of some of the Korean dishes that most foreign people loves to try to eat.

I just moved here, which is Busan, from California about a month ago. It will be pretty difficult if you don't know how to speak the language and no doubt that this country is awesome for the tourist...

Its basicaly a good thing to experience places which you haven't before because it gives knowledge and also provides general outcome for a traveler ny bus tour is one of those sources which are quite good with all its needs and that is the way how i personally think of it.
