    Visiting Romania

I am from Romania and I have noticed that more and more tourists have shown interest in my country. That can only make me happy, to know that others are interested in the landscapes that Romania has to offer and some people are really fascinated about our cultures and traditions.

What most people know about Romania is the fact that this is the land of Dracula, where Bram Stoker found inspiration to create a book that would become popular with the passing of time.
Most tourists seem impressed by the fact that Romania has many resources when it comes to travelling and tourism. We have the Black Sea, the Danube River, the Danube Delta that is filled with endangered species and we have archaeological sites that are full of history (from the days when Pagans ruled the land to the days where Romans invaded the country, some ruins of these ancient civilizations still can be seen) and beautiful castles.

Unfortunately, my country still has to improve its travelling key points and to invest more in tourism. Although we have a lot to show, we don`t know how to attract tourists to come visit our country and that is a crying shame. Have you visited Romania? If not, what would you like to see here? If you visited Romania, what did you like best? I`m curious to understand the perspective of a tourist in my country.

    Going to Romania

There are many countries in the world who fail to attract tourists and have beautiful and splendid attractions. I havent visited Romania and neither have heard of it regarding Tourism.
The things you mentioned like the sea and river which have the species looks interesting ans something worth to visit. The only problem is that you are unable to attract tourists.

I think this has something to do with the reputation that Romania has. I have quite a few Romanian friends and I have to say the country itself does sound amazing, you have so many different beautiful places from the seashore to the mountains. Having said this I've still never even considered going there for a vacation... maybe I'd do it if I'd go and stay with my friends for a couple of days or do a quick stop in Romania during a small eurotrip thing... but I don't think I'll ever do a long vacation there.

I think among the most picturesque attractions of Romania are the Painted Monasteries of Bucovina in the northeastern part of the country.

I've been to Bucharest and it's probably fair to say that it's one of Europe's more unusual capitals. This is largely down to Ceaucescu and his ludicrous "palace" more than anything else. I enjoyed the visit, though. The national museum is excellent and I found more than enough to keep me entertained for a few days. The place could do with a few less stray dogs, though!

One other thing was noting - Romanian wine is very good indeed.

Guys! Your shared information could benefit to others. I have never been to Romania, but I have heard my uncle about it. I think you have a great time there and a nice country to visit. I am planning to visit there with my uncle in next 2016. I hope I will spend a great time there and explore the different destinations there.
