Thread: Things to see in Lahore?

What are the things that someone visiting Pakistan, in specific Lahore should see? I've been playing with the idea of visiting this place (I've a friend in Lahore), specially the north of Pakistan because I've heard this zone is full of natural beauty! I've seen so many pictures of this place, it looks like Switzerland!!! I'd check this zone after visiting my friend in Lahore tho. What are some sightings I should never miss while in Lahore?

So, I asked my mother about this, because her and my father were stationed in Islamabad. She said to look at 'Kim's Gun' in front of the Lahore Museum. The Lahore Museum itself is pretty neat. It has all kinda of things that goes back for thousands of years. They had wheels that they used when Europeans were still in caves. She said they had a Zoo too, but that when she was there, it was pretty bad.

When she was in Lahore, she said it had a lot of British undertones. This was back in the 70s, though. My brother was actually conceived in Lahore, and I was conceived in Islamabad. I was nearly born there.

Last year I went to Asia for a business trip. I got a chance to visit the Lahore. It is such a nice city. Badshahi Mosque,Lahore museum ,Minar-e-Pakistan and Wagah border are its famous attractions. I enjoyed a lot the army Parade at Wagah border and never forget the traditional Lahori food. It was remember able tour.

ADDIE! 1 am interested to know about the other attraction of this region. In this summer I am planning to visit Asia after completing my yosemite bus tour from san jose tour. Let me guide which points of interests do refer me to visit in Asia. Your suggestion would be much appreciated there.

You are right Insa80! The Lahoris say in Punjabi Language and To whom who has not seen Lahore yet, He don't know what life is. I really like to visit in Lahore. I have been visited in this city before couple of month. Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Museum is my favourite place to visit there. What you favourite place in Lahore?

Although there are many attractions in Lahore which fascinates tourists. My favorite place in Lahore is Lahore Fort and Shalimar Gardens. Lahore fort is also called the Shahi Qila. It is enlisted as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1981.it has two gates Akbari Gate / Masti Gate and Alamgiri Gate. It is a historical building. I like it due to its Museums. Alika ! why do you like these places?
