    Chocolate hills

When one of my friend mentioned me about these chocolate hills in Bohol the thought that came into my mind was about real big chocolate hills. But in another minute i was corrected that they only look like chocolate hills and are not really made up of chocolate. There is a process behind this which makes them look like chocolate. Did you know about this? How is it like there?

Chocolate Hills is the nice place for visiting in Philippines. My uncle personally visited in this place before la to grand canyon tour. He told me there are at least 1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres. The Chocolate Hills are conical karst hills similar to those seen in the limestone regions of Slovenia, Croatia, northern Puerto Rico, and Pinar Del Río Province, Cuba. These hills consist of Late Pliocene to Early Pleistocene, thin to medium bedded, sandy to rubbly marine limestones. I wish I visit in this place before my die. I really like this place.

    Re: Chocolate hills

The Chocolate Hills are probably Bohol's most famous tourist attraction. The hills, which look like giant mole hill, are considered unusual geological formation that consists of at least 1,268 individual mounds that are scattered throughout the municipalities of Carmen, Batuan, and Sagbayan. The hills range from 30 to 50 meters high and are covered in green grass, which turns to brown during the dry season, making them look like chocolate mounds.
