Best Month To Visit the Philippines

What would be the best month to visit the Philippines? In which region and what events can be seen there?

My couple-friends from Europe would like to spend a two-week vacation in the Philippines. It's their first time to visit and they're looking for some cultural immersion during their stay. Something beyond the normal luxury tourist accommodation would be better, because they get that often in Europe. They're looking for a more adventurous type of travel experience. Any suggestions and where?

The best time to come, in my opinion would be December in Metro Manila. Christmas starts early in The Philippines and by December its in full swing. You'll notice a lot of Christmas sales, night bazaars, Christmas lights, fireworks, basically a very festive atmosphere. The people seem a lot happier and friendlier too which I have noticed and observed for 26 years. December is also one of the coldest months in the country so if your used to cold climates the heat and humidity won't be so bad. For night-life, there are a lot more events and people going to events during the December months, your gonna want to look around Makati, Bonifacio Global City maybe Ortigas and Alabang for some good night-life.

If your couple-friends are able to make it out to the Philippines in October, the perfect city would be Bacolod, Negros Occidental. This is the month where Bacolod holds the famous Masskara Festival. It is a colorful and happy festive weekend that your friends will enjoy. They'll experience street dancing and groups of the local people in brightly colored and decorated costumes parading down the main avenue of the city. A plus to all this is the food and drinks all the way through the avenue is FREE! There are a couple of luxury hotels which I'm sure your friends will be comfortable staying at. The Bacolod folk are very warm, friendly and hospitable people, and your friends will enjoy the festivities. Aside from the Masskara Festival, there are a few luxury beach resorts in the Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental Regions that your friends can choose from to experience. One to check would be Punta Bulata in Negros Occidental. Our beaches in the Philippines are beautiful and like no other in the whole of the world

Phillippines have two seasons. The wet season and the dry season. I suggest to avoid the wet season. (June to September) The dry season starts from October to May. Philippines are known for beautiful beaches. Aside from Boracay, they can try the Apo Reef located in Sablayan in Mindoro. A lot of people did not know but it is the largest continuous coral reef in the country and second in the world.

The best time to go to the Philippines is either in the summer season (March to May) or the Christmas season (November to December). If you don't mind the heat and is visiting the country just to enjoy the beaches, then come here during summer. If you want to spend and shop a lot, the Christmas season is where it's at. Like the song, it's the most wonderful time of the year, it is also the coldest.

The best time to visit the Philippines is from December to May. You're less likely to experience heavy rains if you visit during these months. Although I have to warn you about extreme heat during the summer. I think visiting the Ifugaos in the Mt Province will be a good experience. Your friends will be able to experience living there first hand, though I have to tell you that comfort and luxury will not be included in those experiences. But I think they'll be able to learn a lot.

Without a question, the summer months (March-May) are the best, and it's no wonder why beaches and resorts are often fully booked during the season. Christmas is also a tourist favorite during the year.

December, I heard the atmosphere in the Philipines during that time is awesome! Filipinos love the christmas season, so they celebrate it with style and are proud about it. If you go there during the christmas season, then you will surely find a lot amazing deals and surprises. My aunt was married to a filipino man and they often went there on december; they loved it!

The best months to visit are December to January. The Christmas season is all out in the Philippines because all Filipinos love a good party with a lot of food and drinks. Wherever you go, there are a lot of festivities. You'll also be able to experience the nice weather. It's the coldest months in the year, but people from other countries just say that the December weather in the Philippines is just like a cold summer night elsewhere. The shopping is also good! Sales are all throughout the month. For luxury brands, the sales usually happen in January.

I had incredible time there with my few family members during my last winter holidays. It was a memorable trip of my life. In my point of view December is a month to visit this adorable place and during this season you can enjoy real charm of nature beauty. If you want to go there then I will suggest that you must take your camera with you. I am sure you will enjoy there a lot.
