    Cost of living in singapore?

I heard that going to singapore is a bit costly. I'm wondering how much will it cost me if I will go there in a week?

Are you going there by yourself or with a travelling agency?

If it's the first then you'll be spending considerably less and have a better trip. I'm planning a visit to Singapore with my family in October for 2-3 days. We made a rough calculation and saw we'll be spending/needing about $100 (Singaporean Dollar) per day per person, including accommodation, travel and food. A meal in a restaurant will obviously be more expensive than one at Hawker center. Similarly buses will be cheaper than a taxi. Tickets and entry fees will be another few extra dollars.

I'm doing the trip on my own. I think if I will do it with an agency it will be more expensive. I'm planning to stay for 2-3 days. I think that's enough time to see the whole place. I'm still looking for a decent place to stay and possible things to do and see.

I'll tell you some of the things that I'm planning to see while I'm there. I'll be visiting the Singapore Zoo, the Marine Park oceanarium (largest of its kind in the world), Live Dinosaur (I know it sounds kiddish but the experience, I've heard, is mind blowing!), Underwater world Singapore, and if I have time and money left, I really would like to go on the night safari. Safari is something I really enjoy so I try and get one in where ever I go, if the place has one.

I've been saving up for this trip for the past 6 months. I'll be lodging and eating at very moderate places, since I'm more keen on sight seeing and eventually shopping! Maybe I might treat myself to a lavish Singaporean cuisine dinner on my last night!

Staying in a hotel will eat up your budget. Public transports and tourist spots are cheap compared to your hotel accommodation. So it is best to stay in a relative's pub when you are planning to stay for more than a couple of weeks or even a month. I was able to cut my expenses when I visited Singapore for that reason.

Now that I've been there and back, I'd say it's pretty expensive. But a lot depends on where you're coming from, and the value of your currency. Thordylan is more than right about hotels being massively expensive. I burnt a hole in my pocket cause i didn't know any better at that time. Public transport is cheap, though I didn't think so about the cabs. Entry tickets to the various places are pricey but worth it.

The cost of living in Singapore is high as being told to me by my cousins and friends who are working and living there. Even a single bottled mineral water is so expensive what more likewise their foods and clothing. The cost of shelter and school also they say is too high. That is why every time they go on a vacation to our mother country they buy all the things they need there and bring it back to Singapore. But sometimes I know some travelling airlines offers discount on airfare if they have a promo and it is a good source of reference for planning for a travel.

If you want to go to Singapore then you better be ready to spend some cash, because this place is really expensive. A friend of mine lives there and says the cost of living in Singapore is way too high, so if you can you should plan your trip very well! Specialy the places you want o visit and where you want to stay. Your main issue will be the accommodation, so try to search for some cheap hotels where you can stay; comparing prices online is a great idea. And whatever you do never use the ''help'' of a travel agency! They charge a hefty fee for their ''services''.

1-Room Rent : SGD 700 and above depending on location.
Internet : SGD 50 per month
Food veg : Approx SGD 30 per day if you eat at the food stalls. Pricier for restaurants.
Transport : SGD 1xx for the monthly MRT pass. Again dependent on where you work and how from where you stay... SGD 6000 is a very good amount for a single person.

When it comes to dealing with all the needs it genuinely has an impact and it takes care of several things which are always working and bringing out the best for us in most of the ways to it nj to niagara falls bus tour makes a mark and turns things into a very different approach and that helps with it certainly.
