I have been lucky enough to live in Cape Town for many years and I miss it. (I now live in the Netherlands.)
It is one of the most diverse cities in the world. The nature is outstanding - from Table Mountain in the middle of the city, to the beautiful white sandy beaches, a buzzing city, gorgeous surrounding winelands, historical monuments and incredible game and wildlife. It is also a melting pot of cultures, people and languages.
It is a gastronomical explosion, with incredible wine farms, Michelin star restaurants and diverse cusines.
South Africans are known to be the most hospitable and friendly people you can find. Most people who visit end up going back many times or moving there, but for sure, it will be a holiday of a lifetime!

WOW! Never though that Cape Town would rank between the most beautiful cities in the world. I remember once that someone recommended me to visit Zanzibar City saying this is the most beautiful city of of Africa and with a very particular aroma floating in the air due to the spices that grow down the streets.

Never been there yet, but probably when planning a trip to Africa I should consider a stop in Cape Town too.

Cape Town is a place I hope to visit some day in SA. It's really nice, I've seen heaps of photos and it's just lovely! I've never been to SA, but some members of my family have, and they loved it. I also have a friend who's been to Cape Town. Lots of recommendations.

Kim Erikson! Yes I have been to Cape Town, and no doubt cape town is such a beautiful place. I just love to be in cape Town. According to me Cape Town is the most peaceful city in the whole world. There are a lot of amazing places to see in Cape Town. Like, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Robben Island, Boulders Beach and Cape Town Stadium.

I just returned from Capetown August 28, 2014. The city is beautiful and so are the people. I traveled alone/ lady and had no problems. The scenery is beautiful. Spend at least one day taking the sight seeing bus. The food is good and shopping is just great.

Capetown is a really nice destination. I visited there once in my life but according to my aunt. Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s but it's famous its Table Mountain. It has many attractions but Table Mountain is most famous every year many travelling lovers to visit there for having fun. Now I am enjoying my west coast tours from los angeles.

Can,t describe the beauty of Cape town in words, scenic route is a must for any visitor to Cape Town, whether on your own or as part of a tour group. The stops along the way are perfectly situated to enjoy the beautiful views along this spectacular stretch of coast.

Lusi...! I will love to say that you have shared really great information about this most exciting place with all of us which is really good. I have been there about few months ago and I also explored all these places which you have mention in your above post during my journey. Truly your shared all these places are the best for visit. I am sure you shared information would be useful for other travellers. I would love to explore this most amazing destination again and again.
