Thread: Whale Watching Tours South Africa

Whale watching is definitely an activity which is done by hundred of thousands of people around the world. It is so much fun to look at there wonderful and big creatures diving and passing through their routes in the Ocean . South Africa is very famous for Whale watching tours as there are many whale routes around its coast.

I would like to know if there are any whale watching tours people here in this forum can recommend me doing. This would be my first time in South Africa and I am doing my research before I go for an actual trip to South Africa.

The best place to see whales is in Hermanus, about an hour's drive from Cape Town. It is a quaint little town well worth the visit. You can also see them in False bay, on the Indian ocean side of the Cape peninsula. I have seen them near Kalk Bay and in Simon's Town. Sometimes, you even see them on the Atlantic side.

On my last trip we went to Dyer Island we took a marvelous cruise there that I would recommend to anyone who is interest to see the beautiful ocean floor with thousands of birds to take a picture of, as always I used the whalewhatchsa site to book the cruise.

Dyer Island is a dangerous spot. I visited never there but I want to visit there for some adventurous in m y life. According to my brother, this is a really adventurous place in this world. He shares with me its an image which now I share with you.

I have not been there even I heard about it first time through your post. I want to know more about it so I want to go there after finishing my san francisco tours from los angeles once in coming holidays with my whole friends. At first i will say that Whale watching is my one of the most favorites hobby and i will surely like to make a move to there for sure. So i think Whale Watching Tours South Africa could be a great way of fun for all of us to have some fun there.
