Top 5 Beaches Of South America

Top 5 Beaches Of South America

South America is a place filled with the beauty of nature. Visiting this place and tasting the Latin culture is the dream of every bachelor. This continent is a great place to visit especially if you are a beach lover. It has the Pacific Ocean to its right side and Atlantic Ocean to its left that results in a very long coast line across which there are so many beaches. It is very difficult to select the best from scores of beaches in this continent. However, based on popularity, we picked up the top beaches of South America for you.

    1. Copacabana Beach, Brazil:

Copacabana is one of the most famous beaches in the world. It is buzzing with beach-goers round the year and is highly crowded on the new year's eve as over a million party goers assemble here annually to celebrate the new year. The beach begins at Fort Copacabana and spans up to Fort Duque de Caxias. Apart from the beautiful sea and the fine white sand, the beach is lined with high mountains and resorts. Also, you can catch a sight of beautiful local Brazillian women here.

    2. Los Roques, Venezuela:

Los Roques is a beach that will take your breath away with its scenic beauty. It has a beautiful reef that is being carefully preserved. No matter how many miles you travel on the beach, all you encounter is soft sand and clear water which makes it a perfect spot for snorkelling and swimming. Also, exploring the reef underwater will rejuvenate your senses. For someone who loves a tranquil place to chill out, there is no better beach in the whole South America than the Los Roques.

    3. Carilo, Argentina:

Standing true to its name which literally means 'green dune', the Carilo beach in Argentina is very unique for its landscape filled with sand dunes. It makes you feel as if you are in an other world. You can traverse through dunes on a sand buggy at great speed which is a lot of fun to try. Once you get tired, just sit back and relax watching the beautiful sunset.

    4. El Zonte, El Salvador:

This beach cannot be missed if you are an avid surfer. Unlike other conventional beaches, you may not find crystal clear water and fine white sand here, but the tranquillity, great surfing conditions, atmosphere and cuisine found here make it one of the favourites in this region for the tourists. Though the size of the beach is small compared to other beaches, it is well-equipped with hotels and resorts.

    5. San Blas Islands, Panama:

Fondly called by the tourists as the "Closest Thing to Paradise", this place is filled with magnificent natural beauty. These islands are still not very popular with the international tourism, so you can peacefully camp here, trek into the islands, or relax on the sea shore. Diving is another option here so that you can explore the underwater life of the ocean. However, as there will not be many tourists around, carry first aid kits and emergency items with you while visiting these islands.

I have been warned on numerous occasions to not go to Brazil for my honeymoon as i will end up getting a divorce because of how beautiful the women there are. I guess from reading your post about Brazil, the rumors must be true.

I would be incredibly stoked to have an idea of the 100's of beaches that lay unmentioned here. I don't think I would really find a fond interest of going to Brazil though, I'm sure it would be a fun vacation to take though.

I have never been to South America but have heard nothing but nice things about it. One of these days I hope I will be able to see Brazil and actually experience the culture. This would probably require at least 2 weeks of holiday time.

I would've loved this post to have pictures. I Googled all the locations. The beaches are absolutely breathtaking. I've never been to South America, but I would very much like to travel there someday. Los Roques, Venezuela and San Blas Islands, Panama are really beautiful. I was in awe of those beaches in particular.

Although I am sure all of those beaches mentioned are extremely beautiful, I am more for those hidden gems, that only the locals know about. A tiny cove, or a beach that the tourists stray away from. I don't know, maybe it is because my parents are Jamaican and as i child when I visited we played both local and tourist and I always appreciated the local spots more. Now if were are talking about going to the beach strictly for babes!? I will gladly post up at any of those 5 beaches you just mentioned. Pretty girls like to be seen so i'm sure there are some gorgeous women out there.
