    Lanzarote resorts

We are looking to book a winter break and Lanzarote looks like being the choice. Does anybody have any tips for the best resorts for a couple in their 30's who enjoy a couple of beers but don't want to be swamped by hordes of drunken teenagers? We'd also appreciate a resort that doesn't suffer the gusting winds that Lanzarote is famous for if possible.

    Lanzarote hotels and resorts

As you have mentioned that you guys don't prefer places with too much crowd so my suggestion would be to find a hotel or resort in Lanzarote which would not be situated in main tourist areas. Another advantage of this would be that you will have to pay less as the hotels would be off the main areas.

Most of Lanzarote can be windy, the worst of all the Canary Isles. Playa Blanco is probably the less windy of the three main resorts on the Island and also the quietest as it very much spanish village oriented.
Although you haven't said when you are considering visiting Lanzarote the wind, on any of the Islands, can be quite chilly from November through April during the evening. A coulple of light jumpers would be recommended.

I stayed at an Ibero Star hotel in playa Blanca, Lanzarote and must say we had no problems with the wind and was an all round sunny experience!

I highly recommend Ibero star hotels, I do believe they are a German company so you can guarantee every thing is ran efficiently and clean!

Hotel Volcán Lanzarote and Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort are two all-inclusive, 5-start hotels that have all what you may need during your stay in Lanzarote.

I have not predilection between these two, both are really good and with very attentive and friendly staff.

according to your requirement that you dont want to have a crowdy place then i cam suggest 3 hotels which are quiet and have good service. Go to H10 Timanfaya Palace, Sandos Papagayo Beach Resort, Hotel Costa Calero .

Aparthotel Paradise Island is the beautiful hotel of Lanzarote. I visited there before my 3 day niagara falls tours from new york about three years ago with my family. We had comfortable stay there for one week. It offers plenty amazing food items. Hotel staff was very friendly. I think you should go there once and enjoy there delicious food items.
