    Any Tourist Attractions In Malaga?

    A business deal will see me visit Malaga early next year. But I'd like to in addition to work [have some pleasure on the side].

    Are there any tourists attractions in Malaga that could be of interest to a foreigner visiting the city for the first time?

    Tons

    If you're in the city centre then you want to check out the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro complex, and the Roman theatre at its foot. The Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, and the waterfront/Alameda street with it's botanical gardens. Those are the big recognizable things, all within ten minutes of each other.

    There are also smaller things within the centro;

    Museums; There are tons, but I'd start with the Thyssen, the Museo de Malaga, and the Museo de Semana Santa

    Churches; There are even more of these, but aside from the Cathedral I'd also recommend one called Santa Maria de la Victoria which doesn't get a lot of traffic but has some really cool and unusual carvings in it.

    Places of interest; Pasaje de Chinitas (a cool street with bars in it, where Federico Garcia Lorca used to hang out), Mercado de Atarazanas which is a indoor fruit, meat, and fish marker built in the 19th century around one of the old Moorish gates of the city.

    Ten minutes by car or bus from the center are some wonderful botanical gardens called La Concepcion, and ten minutes in a different direction is the Playa del Palo which is very nice.

    This all assumes you will be staying in the city. The Costa del Sol, and the smaller towns are also cool, but that's a whole other post.

    summer is Malaga is particularly enjoyable because of the beach, but this is the time when you will see many locals around the place and could be a little crowded.

    Dining out is also enjoyable during this season of the year, particularly at the outdoor dining tables in the marble-paved Marqués de Larios street, and if you like the architecture of the 19th century, a visit to St George’s English Cemetery is a must.

    I would also recommend a visit to La Concepción Botanic Garden, the natural park El Torkal, or a trip to Garganta del Chorro gorge, which is about 30 miles northwest of Malaga.

    Malaga is a city in Spain, and the capital of the province of Malaga. It is the second most populous city in of the Andalusia and the sixth largest in Spain.It is covers the 395 km2 . Museo Automovilistico De Malaga, the sexiest, sassiest museum ever...Stylish museum featuring the unlikely combo of cars and haute couture. Beautiful cars and gorgeous frocks curated incredibly artistically. Steering wheels, or hub caps displayed as art. A total feast for the eyes. Highly recommended. What's more, it's in a renovated tobacco factory. Lovely. Highly recommended, and not just for petrol heads. If you like style, you'll like this museum.

    I visited just once in my travelling life Costa del Sol. The Costa del Sol is a region in the south of the autonomous community of Andalusia, comprising the coastal towns and communities along the coastline of the Province of Málaga. I want to visit again after my Bus tours from new york.

    Discovering Malaga is not as easy as it sounds since it loves to pass down so much of its history and richness to be uncovered slowly.Malaga once a city of Moors and now a city to revel in its gastronomy and festivities is an exceptional place.The Spanish city of Malaga is a Mediterranean seaport on the Costa del Sol in the Andalucía region of southern Spain. It is the second most populous city in Andalucía, the sixth in the whole of Spain and more importantly it's a major tourist destination. Famed for its rich architectural history, delicious Mediterranean cuisine, outstanding local wines and beautiful sandy beaches as well as being the birthplace of Picasso.
