Have you taken any of the Horsedrawn Carriage or Pedi-Cab rides while traveling?

We have both horse and carriage rides and the bicycles with the seat/trailer behind in San Diego, California and they offer rides to the tourists along the bay, downtown and convention center areas. I am hearing the City is begining to highly regulate them and it would be a shame if they were put out of business.

Have you ever taken these modes of vacation fun and what do yo think of them?

I had a nice horse drawn carriage tour in Vienna some years back when visited this city, and also a pedi-cab ride across historic downtown in Mexico City.

I believe that these carriage rides are more enjoyable that going aboard a tour bus, a taxi, or using the local public transport network, which could also be enjoyable but is not as relaxing as sitting in such carriages and enjoy the landscape.

A horse drawn carriage was such a very nice ride for me.

My boyfriend and I took a horse drawn carriage ride in New York City. The only thing I remember is that I froze. I really want to go on one in Charleston or New Orleans, the next time I'm in either city.

I agree, it would be a shame if they were put out of business in San Diego. I think it would be a neat way to tour the city. I don't like when law makers start regulating things to the point that it threatens a business.
