Yes, some countries allow people to get into without visa, but depends on the country of origin from where you are departing.

It depends on what you're planning to go and the policy of the country. It varies from country to country, which it is hard to just answer visa or non visa because of country's own traveling regulations and policy.

Depends on your nationality, for me Europe has open doors. But other places ask me a visa, most of those countries are in the middle east and the US. Canada is in that list as well. But I think I can travel freely across latin america as well

Re: Visa and Non Visa Countries

That is a question I recently pondered and researched in depth. There are many rules and regulations, depending on what kind of passport you have. I was researching the Schengen visa requirements, necessary for most of the EU countries. I helped to organise a holiday in Europe for a Colombian friend of mine. The process of applying for the visa was rather challenging, but we managed to do it after two months. First we thought of an alternative for him to fly to Turkey, one of the few countries that will accept Colombians, but the problem was that he needed a transit visa for passing through the airports in the Schengen zone. It felt like a never ending story. When one door just opened, another closed. But in the end we managed everything well.
I recommend to research any visa requirements very carefully and allow enough time to organise everything.
