    Portable Toilets For Camping?

    Hi guys,
Heard about this from a friend who went to a music festival...Apparently, there is a new portable toilet on the market. But it is something like a bag or a thing that you can take camping and traveling with you. Curious if anyone has used it or seen it?

I've heard of these, but I don't really like the idea or anything. I mean it just doesn't sound all that sanitary and I have yet to hear anyone say they're great when it comes to cleaning them out. I also haven't heard of one that was at a really good price, that said they would have to be better then sharing a portopotty with 400 other people with who knows what kind of germs... ugh. There are reasons I don't generally do the festival scene; mud that's more pee then water is just one of them.

Yeah, I've actually seen these advertised in various catalogs. I don't really think I'd trust them. I mean, if it's just a bag, why not use an actual bag? Just doesn't seem like it'd be convenient enough to be worth the money. I'm really cheap, though, so maybe I am not a good source for information! Lol

Thank you! It seemed the same to me; a structured plastic bag. So not worth the investment...thank you!

yeah if I'd do it in a bag I'd just use a normal plastic one. I guess people come up with the craziest ideas that are absolutely not necessary... like NASA spending millions to make a pen that works in outer space. (you could just take a pencil.) I believe that common sense is starting to disappear from this world.

I've heard also about this stuff, but i would barely use it. It sounds awful if you'd bring these stuffs on camp. A big no for me. Just try other portable things not just with these stuff. But if it's really needed then, that's the time I'd use it.

I assume you are referring to bog in a bag. It is a good idea for those that are less abled physically as it comes with a seat. Basically it is a camping stool with a hole in it, along with appropriately shaped disposable bags. Haven't tried it myself but if you can't do it in a regular bag then yes can try the alternatives.

They are the need if we see in general and also throughout the concept can be taken care of surely which is the way for it big time. Certainly that should be used as a good way out and that is the need surely. niagara falls ontario canada works for me always.

Portable toilets is a good move. They contribute to the eco system and are quite handy.
