Are there any antique Cities in Turkey?

I have been searching for a list of Antique cities of Turkey. One of my friend told me that there aren't any antique cities in the country. Is that true. What i personally think is that Turkey does have a big list of such cities. Can somebody please name them for me?

In my point of view Istanbul is a unique city fo Turkey. It is known for its well know destinations that attracts the peoples toward it. It is my favorite one travel destination and I like to visit its natural places. I have been there about few years ago withy my family to enjoy hoidays. We stay there for two weeks to enjoy incredible beauty of this amazing city. The large number of visitors go there every year and spent their vocations. What will you say about it?

Every one of you has shared such marvelously. I will also like to go with Istanbul. As is one of the most precious and historical city for having some fun there. I had been to there before my los angeles to grand canyon tour and had a great time there. Still, i will love to move to it again and again. So simply my vote goes to Istanbul.
