    5 days in istanbul.

    Hi,
I will be travelling to istanbul for 5 days with my friend some point in June.
As it is our first time can some please guide us?
As in which place will be good to stay at what we can do in 5 days?
And most importantly how much will it cost. We’re planning on taking around 1100/- (British pounds) with us that is apart from the hotel bill.
It will that be enough for sightseeing a little shopping and some nice meals?

My friend if you are planning your trip then I will suggest you an accommodation to visit there. I have been there a year ago with my friends before my watkins glen falls tour. Sultan Ahmad and the blue mosque in Istanbul impress me and draw my attention to it. It becomes one of the most visited tourist attraction in Istanbul. It was built in 1603 to 1616. It consist of 20, 00 blue tiles that enhance the mosque’s beauty.
You can stay at the Tayhan Hotel that provides a best dinning at a affordable range.

lovely, I want to suggest you must visit the Sultan Ahmed Mosque during your trip. It is one of the prettiest attractions of this city. This mosque is also known as Blue Mosque because of its blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior.
I have plan to enjoy a west coast tour usa in coming month with my family.

johnwinsett, you have shared really great list about Istanbul's attractions. I like all of these names and must say the Grand Bazaar is one of my favorite place in this city. I am a big lover of shopping so it is my favorite. YOu can believe me that this bazaar is a home of 3,000 shops which attract between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily. The visitors can find best jewellers, shoes, beautiful silk bag and many other things. I would like to go there again with my husband.
