    New Zealand?

Unless I missed it, I didn't see anywhere else to post this. I'm curious if anyone has been to New Zealand, and what their experiences are?

Not only would I like to visit, I might want to move there. I heard it's lovely, and a great place to live. I have heard that they are very big on individual freedoms, and their air quality is fantastic!

Anyone been there or are from there? What are your experiences?

You don't say where you are from MizzDeeDee but if you know the UK then that is New Zealand, but 50years ago.I spent time there some years back. The countryside is the same, rolling hills and green fields. The climate very similar to the UK, although the other way round; their summer is the UK's winter and vise versa. Their population is a lot lower and the air is cleaner and sweeter. A beautiful country to visit or live.

A friend of mine actually moved there, she says education over there is great! According to her they have the best educational system over there, she went there to do her masters in biochemistry. She never came back, she got married and just had her second baby some weeks ago I've seen a lot of her pictures on Facebook, that place looks amazing! If I'm not mistaken... that's where they shot ''the lord of the rings'' films.

New Zealand looks like an amazing place to visit, although I haven't yet visited the place but I spoke to a couple of New Zealanders who had come to support the rugby team during the Rugby League World Cup last year and they said that if you have the ability to go, then go as the scenery changes from rolling hills to green fields and mountains in the background and the way of life is so much more laid back and the locals are really friendly and welcoming.

A friend of mine lives in Auckland and he seems to be pleased with the way life is over there. If only I had the funds to go now...

I live in New Zealand, and it's a very nice place. There's really interesting native wildlife, and looking after it is a big part of society here. I don't know if there was anywhere in particular you thinking of visiting/moving to, but here in Wellington it's great - there are lots of easily accessible bush walks but in town there are lots of good shops too. I especially like it because you can walk to most places in less than an hour. Wellington's also pretty cultural, and it's a really colourful and diverse place. I don't really know that much about the rest of NZ, but if you do decide to visit or move here, I hope you enjoy yourself!

New Zealand is split between two places namely north and south. I have been to southern NZ which is more scenic while i believe the north is more commercial. I started in Christchurch like most travelers and took a bus tour around various locations. Mount cook has some great hikes and amazing views including an iceberg. I would like to go back and do the lord of the rings tour, but it's a long way from the UK.

I watched a great show on Travel Channel where they showed a couple of attractions around the Northern Part of New Zealand and more specifically there was this one city with a huge tower. The awesome thing was that you could walk around the tower 300 meters up in the sky without any rails on either side just a rope holding you.

In New Zealand, this place is famous and most poets visit there and write the themes on its beauty in his poems. I visited this place at once in my life. Now I wish again a chance to visit this place in autumn. At this country’s highest waterfall, suspension bridges, mountains, valleys and spellbinding lakes which are able to rate. Can anyone share his personal experience about New Zealand's tour?

New Zealand is a place where traditional Maori culture mixes with modernity in cosmopolitan cities, charming villages and vast expanses of untouched wilderness. Pristine and heavenly, the island nation has something for everyone, including the following top tourist attractions in New Zealand.
