Best chinese food buffets in London?

Hello everyone! I might be visiting a friend of mine in London next year. He has told me he knows of a great chinese food buffet in London, but I'd like to know if there are more places like that. I can't remember the name of that place, but it seems those guys specialize on chicken and curry! I thought it was odd when he first told me about the curry bit, but he told me that's just part of the thailandese influence. I love chinese food and would LOVE to have some of that while I'm in london.

Do you know of any good chinese food buffets in London?

I have a friend who goes to Camden about once a year and makes a point of stopping by Max Orient. He loves it, but partly that might be because of tradition and the big dragon on the front as much as anything.

Curry in Chinese food! That's very unusual; but I'm glad that the Thai ingredients are being combined with Chinese. I love curry and I love Chinese food. I also like some Thai dishes, so I'm really grateful for the myriad of international cuisines that persons can sample while in England, especially in London, because I plan to visit there soon. I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of many of the traditional British dishes.

Sounds like a really interesting spot, definitely worth visiting. But is it just a chinese food restaurant or is it a buffet? I really don't like to go to restaurants in which you have to pick just one thing to eat. I'm really bad at decision making!

Hahaha, I don't think the brits themselves are big fans of the british cusine. I've a met a lot brits who are also greatful that a lot foreigner people decided to open their own restaurants in England But some british dishes are not so far, I heard about a really nice cake they prepare over there. Plus they also like having fish with fries I love having that as well!

It's definitely a buffet, all-you-can eat and cheap (at least by London prices) according to him.

Half a dozen? Lucky you! You must have an amazing appetite! I can make to trips max to the hot foods bar My appetite isn't the same since my gallbladder was removed, gosh! But I still enjoy eating at all sorts of buffets... I probabily spend more time dreaming about food than eating it, lol.

There are lots of All-you-can-eat buffets in Chinatown. The nearest station is Leicester Square and you get to see a few other sites on your way to Chinatown - like the main cinema where all the big premiers are. Once in Chinatown you will notice it is very busy and crowded, so look around as there are quite a lot of buffets available, not just within the main area but in the side alleys too.

Awesome tip, Kai!!! I'll definitely go check Chinatown when I visit London I'm sure I'll not have a hard time finding a good all-you-can-eat buffet over there. I was told by a friend about a buffet that offered a very wide selection of chicken wings and dishes prepared with shrimps! I was told of a thai fusion as well. I didn't pay a lot attention to the name tho, since I wasn't even planning to visit London back then.

    Max Orient Camden
With its distinctive Chinese Dragon frontage, Camden stalwart Max Orient is hugely popular with hungry tourists in need of all-you-can eat fodder. You’ll find all the usual Chinese and oriental buffet dishes here for a fixed price of 7.80 per person.
