    Puerto Rico?

Has anyone been to Puerto Rico? My brother and his wife went, and they said it was pure paradise. It's like being in the Caribbean without the enormous price tag. The only thing I'm concerned about is that I've heard they have a drug cartel issue. I've heard it's not so much an issue if you stay out of certain areas.

I'm just curious if anyone has had the experience of going there. What was your experience? Did you love it? Was it lovely? I would really love to go someday.

I went on a Caribbean Cruise years ago and it started in Puerto Rico. Yes the beaches were much the same as the Islands but in the short time we stayed in Puerto Rico, it seemed rather impoverished. Can't talk to the current state there.

My sister went to Puerto Rico with her husband, they stayed at a really nice hotel and had an amazing time. This place is great if you are a big fan of having a great holiday in a tropical paradise. According to my sister you better stay inside the touristic areas, as it seems the country in general isn't doing very well. I'd not risk it outside!

See, this is also what I've heard too. As long as you stay inside your resort or with the tourists you're okay. It's really a shame it's like that, though. I dated a guy for years from Puerto Rico, and he never wanted to go back. He said that it was awful to live there. I also find it interesting that their degrees don't necessarily transfer to America? There was a lady I knew who came from Puerto Rico that was a lawyer there and couldn't practice law in the US. I would understand that if it was a whole different country, but it's a territory of the US. I find that more than a little odd.

I've heard that's true throughout the Caribbean - venture out of the tourist areas at your own peril, because the entire region is poor and with poverty comes crime, drugs, and other problems. But the tourist areas of Puerto Rico do look lovely and I would like to visit one of these days.

I haven't been to Puerto Rico but would like to visit someday. One of my friends went there a few years ago. He said it was a very nice place to travel. He and his family loved there a lot. I am wondering how's the food and the cost there.

What you've done turns into the judge of what you will do – particularly in other individuals' brains. When you're voyaging, you are what you are in that spot niagara falls bus tours from new york city and after that. Individuals don't have your past to hold against you. No yesterdays out and about
