    Favorite restaurants in the US?

I think everyone has a favorite restaurant or food chain, why don't we talk about it here? I personally love the Pizza Inn franchise! They make excellent pizza for a really reasonable price, plus they also offer a really nice buffet with pizzas, salads, soups and even desserts!!! What else could you ask for?! I know some people think pizza is junk food, but bear in mind you have other options when you go to Pizza inn; you can eat as much salads and soup as you want. They also have pastas

What are your favorite restaurants/food chains in the US?

I tend to favor independent places over chains when I travel but there are some smaller regional chains in my area that I really enjoy.

For pizza my favorite is Buddy's Pizza, which is only in and around the Detroit area. They have excellent pizza and even better salad. Giordanos in Illinois and Florida makes a good Chicago-style pizza. And for a big national chain I do enjoy California Pizza Kitchen for a selection of slightly different options than you'd find in a typical pizza joint.

BD's Mongolian BBQ is a fun concept, all-you-can-eat stirfry cooked with swords on a huge grill while you watch, and they're all over the place now. They are probably my very favorite chain restaurant anywhere. It isn't terribly expensive, everything is so customizable because you choose your own meats, veggies, spices, and sauces buffet-style before handing your bowl off to the grillers, and it is just unusual enough to be a nice change of pace when you're traveling and eating in restaurants day after day.

I love independents as well for a meal as well as an adventure. Road trips are a great time to see the "hole in the walls". Now as to franchises, I do not mean this for culinary expertise but for nostalgia. I love going to a real "White Castle" for a bag of burgers...on the West Coast we only get them in the freezer isle.

I don't have any specific restaurants I usually prefer to go. However, I like going to Shari's restaurant because I like the atmosphere, which is quiet in terms I can talk with friends without being distracted. It's a nice place to hang out, and the food isn't that bad. I like some of their entrees, which are at a reason price. There's one thing I really like about Shari, which is the lighting. It's not too bright or too dim, which is very comfortable.

I tend towards independents as well, so selecting a single restaurant in the entire US is a pretty tall order. It depends on what I'm in the mood for, really.

As for chains, I'd have to go with Hobee's. They're a small local SF Bay Area chain, and they're really good

That's my feeling too. One of my newish habits when I travel is to check out the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and No Reservations websites to get some ideas for places to try around my intended destination. Also, local papers' websites, especially alternative publications if you can find them, are a great place to start looking for the best independent joints an area has to offer. The whole chain concept centers around offering the same experience and cuisine whether the patron is dining in Michigan or Texas or Alaska, and that's entirely contrary to my general philosophy of travel - to experience as much of the local culture and flavor as possible during my stay.

I love Olive Garden, Chippotle, In N Out and Red Robin. Outback is also pretty good, but I find it a bit too strong sometimes.
Also, don't be mad.... but one of my guilty pleasures is Panda Express.... I know, it's not known for its high quality, but I love it!

Shari's restaurant is the most famous restaurant of United State of America. My elder brother has visited there and enjoyed there delicious meal. It is a best place to enjoy the good food and drinks. So I will suggest you should go there once. I am sure you will have great time there.
