The Georgia Aquarium gets rave reviews from a lot of family oriented publications. It is the largest in the US and has quite a range of exhibits and displays. It has been on my to-do list for years but we haven't gotten down there yet.

Something a little off the wall that I would like to do on my next visit to the Atlanta area is drive out to Senoia, GA. I'm a big fan of The Walking Dead and that's where they film the scenes set in Woodbury in the show, and I think it would be cool to see some of the locations they've used.

I am a nature person so I enjoy the Aquarium and The Botanical Gardens. But I would also so suggest anyone who visits to enjoy the music at the Fox Theater or Philliips Arena.
There are a lot of great restaurants downtown and check out lenox mall or perimeter mall.

For kid-friendly activities, visit the Georgia Aquarium, which is apparently the largest aquarium in the world. It showcases the biggest collection of aquatic animals. It also offers a number of great programs like group and family sleepovers, swim and dive programs for ages 12 and older, special toddler activities and many more. Another site would have to be Zoo Atlanta. There are more than 1000 animals and over 200 animal species.

The Georgia Aquarium is nice since it also includes a petting tank and a 4-D theater. For something educational there is the MLK church and memorial and museum. There is a Coca-Cola headquarters there - with free samples. You can visit the museums - or at least the none creepy ones. You can go up to Stone Mountain (which is actually very nice). You can also... I lost my train of thought on that. But there is also the Underground which is great for not only shopping, but running into singers and the like. Does that help?

Honesty speaking, I have never visited this place personally. But my friends and cousins have visited this place. They shared his experience with me that was nice. I am going to those attraction names which they have visited during their journey and spent good time there. Those names are Zoo Atlanta, World of Coca-Cola, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and Rhodes Hall. I am sure you like these names. If you are not like this then you tell me freely.
