    Natural Bridge

Has anyone been to see the Natural Bridge in Kentucky? It's such a beautiful natural bridge. It takes a good bit of walking to get to it but once you are there, its hard to believe its not hand made. Love this tourist attraction.

Nice discussion members! The Natural Bridge in Rockbridge County, Virginia, is a geological formation in which Cedar Creek has carved out a gorge in the mountainous limestone terrain, forming a natural arch 215 ft high with a span of 90 ft. it is a nice and historical place in the world.

We stayed at a cabin in the park for 2 nights and had a great time exploring the many trails. The trails were primarily short (approximately 1 mi) and were well marked. The we took the battleship trail up to the natural bridge and it was very steep in parts.
only negative I remember is we were not very impressed with the prices in the restaurant and opted to go to nearby Miguels Pizza and Rock Climbing, which was very good

The discussion is very informative about the United States. It will prove helpful for those who want to go there. I have visited the United State with my brother couple of years ago. Natural Bridge is a nice place for nature lovers. We stay there just for two days so, I miss many other locations of the US. Dairra77! I don't know anything about Freedom trail and Faneuil Hall? Will you like to tell me about these locations?

    Re: Natural Bridge

ADDIE, both of these are famous attractions of Boston. Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile, brick-lined route that leads us to 16 historically significant sights. Like museums and meetinghouses, churches, and burying grounds. Faneuil Hall is a Marketplace. Its ground floor contains shops and eating establishments, second floor contains meetings room and third floor, the museum and armory of the Ancient and Honerable Artillery Company of Massachusetts.
I have plan to enjoy a west coast tour usa in coming month with my family.

ADDIE, you can visit this place anytime during the year. I have been there few months ago during my niagara falls tour from boston with my family. It is a best place to know about the history of this region. It is a part of the 2.5 mile long freedom trail and is also referred as the cradle of Liberty. You will find this place so charming and original.
