How to visit Disney World and Universal Studios without spending a fortune

My boyfriend and I really want to visit Universal Studios Orlando and Disney World but we don't have a lot of money. I am looking for advice, suggestions, ideas and information that will help us save money on this trip. It can be anything from a tip on saving money on travel, food, lodging, e cheapest places to get great souvenirs.

My boyfriend has been once but didn't have a great time. I have never been so we if anyone has suggestions on fun activities to do when or what to do when that would be great too.

I think that Universal Studios in CA has lost some of its popularity. They have had some recent promotions where you buy a day and get the year for free. I don't know if they have the same offer in Florida. If they are running the promo, you may be able to buy one day and go back a few days in a row on your trip. I only know of the CA one, and my favourite thing to visit was "Hill Valley" from "Back to the Future". You get a glimpse on the tram ride. I would do the tram if they have one in FL. It's a neat overview and lasts maybe about 30 minutes.

I'm shocked that your beau didn't have fun on his last trip to the theme parks, but Orlando has plenty of night clubs, water parks, and other attractions so if he thinks it's a bummer again you still won't be bored. Both Disney World and Universal Studios are expensive and there is no getting around that! The admission ticket is high, the food and drinks cost a fortune, and even parking is pretty steep. To save money at Disney World check out this site. The blog owner goes to Disney every year and has lots of sage advice. You might also save by purchasing your tickets at the same time or asking a travel agent for discounts. In the past Coke has offered free tickets to Universal that you could "purchase" with Coke rewards points. I don't see that prize now, but it might show up again. Also, grab free maps and brochures at restaurants and rest stops along the way because they often contain coupons to the places you'll visit.

As for attractions, I love most them! At Disney World I always want make sure we have time for the Haunted Mansion and the President's. At Universal I like the Harry Potter stuff best. I think you'll have a great time!

Hi! I'm not sure the specifics of your travel plans, but I would recommend staying in the Kissimme area just south of Orlando. There are lots of nice and inexpensive hotels as well as the best gift shops in the area. The only issue when going to Orlando attractions would be the transport, but many places have free shuttles.

Well I think it was the person he was with the that made it not much fun. She only wanted to do what she wanted and not things that he wanted. Thanks for the info. I will check them out.

Visit Disney World On A Budget

I am in the same boat. Since Disney World and Universal Studios are such well known amusement parks, though, you can find lots of great coupons online. You may not receive some right away, but if you simply sign up for discounts on various websites, the coupons will be piling in your mailbox in a couple of months. We get Disney discounts all the time now, and we still haven't even went yet! Guess we need to stack up some new coupons and passes!

Look For Coupons Discounts And Deals For Disney World and Universal Studios

The best way to save money at Disney is to research and research some more. They offer deals throughout the year. Sometimes it's free dining and sometimes it's just a percentage off a room only package. If you can't afford to stay onsite, there are some reasonable hotel options near by. Try Hotwire to score a good deal on a room. It is cheaper to bring your own food and cook it at your place of lodging. Did you know that you can get free filtered water at the counter service places throughout Disney? This is a great way to beat the heat and quinch your thirst without forking out a fortune everytime you are thirsty. Beware of sites that offer tickets that sound too good to be true, because they usually are. Universal also offers special discounts throughout the year. Both resorts are amazing places to visit.

You can always look to travel off season. The tickets and all other flying related costs are lower when it's not in season like the winter. It might cost more in the summer because kids are off from school. Your flying tickets is also cheaper. There are less people so you don't' have to wait in lines for most things. I think buying souvenirs online is cheaper than in person because there are a lot of items on Ebay from those destinations that cost close to nothing, probably from previous people who vacation there. You can bring your own food and beverage, and personal items like sunscreen or lotion or water so you don't have to buy a lot when you're on site. You can book family package where it's cheaper. There are promotions all the time so get on the websites and try to see what you can get. You can also join their club if they have it to save more. You can stay at nearby hotels that cost less instead of staying with them.

I have never been but I'm saving money now to take my kids during the summer in 2015. We plan to lodge offsite and eat sparingly while at the park. We are also looking into discounts through my work. Hope you have a fun and eventful time when you get to go.

Disneyland is my favourite one destination too. Luckily I visited there more numerous of time yet sometimes with my friends and sometimes with my family. It is all time favourite one destination for everyone. I recently came back from LA tour and explored disneyland as well. That encompases eight themed park. Only you have to do is chose the best one according to your interest or explore them all rendomly.

I love my kings dominion tour it was so amazing.

Disney World and Universal Studios both are best places for having fun. Disney World is also famous theme park and my favorite too. I have been there about a year ago during my holidays. I stay there for one day and had lots of fun there. Many visitors go there and had great time there. I will suggest you to must go there once. I hope you will fully enjoy there like I enjoyed me. I would love to go there again and again.
