    Ny,fl,la?

Which city would you prefer planning a family vacation and why?

Every two-three years my family does a reunion vacation because we all live in different states. This year we are trying to choose between the three cities listed in the title. As of now, i'm leaning more toward New York because there seems to be a variety of things to do for people of all ages. Other family members are leaning more towards Florida because of Disney World and the beaches. We've already vacationed in Florida so I was hoping for something new. Still, i'd love to get some input on which city you would choose and why.

Well I would tend to FL for the reasons mentioned...however, if you've already done that NY would be my second pick. There is a lot to do, it can accommodate the interests of various age groups and personality types and is definitely worth the visit overall. LA would be my last choice of those.

New York would be the first choice as there are a lot of things to do - family orientated ones and some for the adults as well. LA is overrated as it is almost always flocked by foreign tourists and would be less enjoyable (personally speaking). Since you have already been to Florida, why not try something new. One thing about going to NYC though is, expect to roll out a lot of dough in order to fully enjoy what the city has to offer.

I'd say New York is the best spot. Los Angeles isn't exactly what everyone makes it out to be. There isn't that much to do in Florida.. New York City has tons to do and has a variety of people. There's a reason there are so many tourists go to New York.

With a family I'd probably head to Florida. You have Disney World, beaches and life's a bit slower; great way to avoid the hustle and bustle of a big city. If I was going just myself and my significant other I'd head down to New York or L.A for some great dining and shows. I'd definitely avoid New York in the winter time (family or no family) and if I had to pick my least favourite of the three I'd probably say L.A.

I think that New York would be the best option. My family also loves to travel. And when I was about 10 years old, we went to New York. I was able to marvel at all the world's famous structures. Also, I think it'd be nice for you guys to see the city's famous landmarks. Also, you could also go watch a musical. I don't think a New York experience would be complete without it! Or if the season's right, maybe you guys could go skating in the Rockefeller center!

I think they all have their ups and downs, if you were to go to Florida, Orlando is probably your best bet, alot of stuff to do for the whole family! New york is great, but the weather can get pretty bad, and it tends to get crowded when the weather isn't. I've lived in LA for a few years now, and if you know where to go, it's awesome. I'd recommend Venice beach, and definitely take a trip up into the mountains!

I personally would choose LA. It's sort of the best of both worlds! There's Disneyland, Hollywood and more. It's great for all ages and it's a really fun place! If you do go to LA go to Pink's hot dogs. It's a great place to spot celebs, and it's right down the street from LA Ink. Their hot dogs are too die for! Have a fun trip wherever you go!

Personally I would agree with your opinion. There's just a ton of stuff that you can do in New York during your vacation and everybody should be happy. You can see cultural places, such as the Statue of Liberty but you can also go out at night. (well, at least the family members who aren't held back by children)

Definitely LA. I love Universal Studios and there's Hollywood for the awestruck pre teens too. I love going to Koreatown in LA and trying yummy korean bbq and bakery items too. There is Venice Beach too or Santa Monica Beach.New York is such a busy place and I find it hard to often relax and take pictures because people are often cutting into your pictures. That hasn't happened to me in LA yet. I think NY is more for vacationing with a loved one or friends and LA definitely for family.

I would opt for Los Angeles for a variety of reasons. First, it is real close to the Disneyland, which works perfect if you have kids. You could also take a trip to Hollywood and manage to catch a glimpse of the hollywood stars sipping coffee at one of the cafes. You also have Legoland very close to the place. Secondly, you could just drive up north around 6 hours and reach San Fransisco, a place that needs no explanation or justification to visit.
