If you could go to one place in the US that you haven't seen yet?

If money and schedules were no issue, where is the one place in the US you would wish to go if you could? Just pretend you won the trip and your boss is letting you take of as many days as you would like . Where would you go and what would you see? Or, would you return somewhere that you've already been over going to a new place?

I would say that my choice would probably be going to California, since I've never been anywhere on the West Coast. I would take my son to Disneyland and Legoland. I would like to go to the beaches and lay out on the sand all day. I would visit LA and try to catch some celebrities hanging out. I would like to visit San Fransisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge and I would like to find the "Tanner house" from Full House!

I've never been to the west coast either. My family took a trip to San Francisco and I couldn't go because I was starting school. I have a friend who lives in Laguna Beach, family in L.A., you'd think I would have visited some part of California by now, but no.

    Alaska

If I could go somewhere in the US that I have not been it would be Alaska. When I see TV programs on Alaska it is so beautiful. The snow covered mountain ranges, the rugged landscape are very appealing. Then I see travel shows that show both the mountains and the ocean, it is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Taking a cruise along the inner passages and a plane ride over the mountain ranges. I would want to stay for a month or so during the summer. Hopefully I would get a chance to see a lot of wildlife, along with the scenery.

Tough choice here! I would say a trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon (I would put them together on the same trip I think), Alaska or Hawaii. I have an Aunt in Alaska that I would like to visit and the pictures of Alaska look amazing. But on the other hand, Hawaii looks like a nice relaxing resort kind of vacation with the beach and the sun. Very tough choice and I don't know which of the 3 I would pick! I have been to many of the other states.

Oh Alaska! I almost forgot about Alaska for a minute there. I've had family friends move to Alaska and they would always send us pictures and postcards with beautiful scenery. A cruise along the inner passages would be fantastic. However, I just don't like being cold. Even living in Wisconsin, I despise winter because I just get uncomfortable when I'm cold! However, the sights might be enough to take my breath away and make me forget about the weather! I'm sure my husband would love to go ice fishing there!

Las Vegas is a good choice, I was there once and since have been dying to go back! I have an aunt whom went to Hawaii to be a nurse in the 80's and came back with a fiancÚ! They got married in Hawaii and then had a renewal of vows here in Wisconsin. They moved back here and now have four kids. Once a summer they try to make a trip down to Hawaii. I'm waiting for the summer when they ask my family to join! I agree that it looks so relaxing and I would spend all day out tanning on the beach. My son would probably love to go swimming and I could see my husband out there taking surf lessons. Another thing we would like to try out there would be scuba diving!

If money and time were no issue, I'd want to drive to Alaska. My uncle worked there for years and always talked about how the tourists that cruise the coast or fly into the big cities really miss the best of the state, and between his stories and his pictures and the salmon and crab he'd send us every now and then I've always wanted to go there. But I'd want to drive and get off the beaten path, not stick to the same touristy places that most people visit when they go to Alaska.

Getting there and back would be half the fun too - through the US one way and Canada the other, seeing the sights as I go. The ultimate road trip.

I would love to visit the Grand Canyon someday. I live in Southern California so it's not even that far! I would want to stay for a whole week and do some camping, hiking, and rafting. I should start saving! Alaska also sounds like it would be an amazing trip. I think I am becoming more interested in outdoors-type excursions than I was when I was younger.

I would love to visit the Las Vegas. By cousin has been to Las Vegas and he keeps talking about how different everything is from our country. Now I just have to wait for my boss to send me on vacation, haha

New Orleans! I love food, and it looks awesome, and everyone I know who has been loved it to bits. But it's just so far away, and I want to go with friends so that requires double the planning.

The Grand Canyon is on my bucket list right before a cruise to Alaska. I love seeing the wonders of nature. If I went there I would definitely do some hiking to be able to see the best views. I have looked at tours in the past but I still can't decide where to stay in order to get the best experience. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I'd like to go to New York, I'd love to take a look at the neighborhood where the ultra orthodox jewish people live. I think I could take some really good pictures over there! I heard that neighborhood in specific flaunts some of the most beautiful houses in NY! I've even seen this place thanks to Google earth, and I must say that some of the structures over there are really outstanding!

I have to agree with whoever you've talked to. NOLA is a totally awesome place to visit. I've been twice and would love to go back. There's just a certain feel and atmosphere when you're there. I'm not into partying - I love it for the music. My son and I are hoping to go in the next couple of years.

I would totally love to go to Hawaii. It looks gorgeous! My husband was totally against it when we went on our honeymoon. He says it's "nothing special" and it's "just like here", but I tend to suspect he's wrong based on what I've seen and heard about it. I'd love to visit at place close to the beach, see the natural beauty of the islands, and check out one of those helicopter rides over the volcanoes.

While I've listed New York before, I'd really enjoy visiting Alaska. I'm a cooler weather girl

I've flown over the Grand Canyon so many times I cannot count, but I have never visited it. Since I have seen it from the sky so many times and appreciate its grandeur and beauty, it would be nice one day to actually drive there and breathe the air and appreciate it in a way that can only be experienced at ground level. The Grand Canyon is definitely on my bucket-list.

There are other parts of Arizona I would like see as well. One cannot enjoy the flair of the local artistry and the nature of the people who live in this part of the US unless they make the trek on the ground. I am from "north of the border" and have not made the effort to get the passport now required to cross our borders, so it will be a while before I can even see these wonderful sights once more (even from the sky).

I would like to go climb Mt. Denali in Alaska, if I could do any one thing in the United States which I have not done before. However, it is a very difficult climb and it is not to cheap either.

There are two for me. I want to visit New Orleans to check out Bourbon Street. I also want to go to Washington D.C. to visit the White House and Lincoln Memorial.

Same here. I would like to go visit the Grand Canyon because I have heard it is a great place to visit. Plus, I read a lot of books that the characters visit Grand Canyon, which they like a lot.

I would like to go visit in the Palm Springs in California. I have heard it is a great place to go shopping and eat. It seems like it is a historical shopping place, which reminds me of those places in my home country.

If there is an opportunity, time and money I would like to go to the Broadway in New York City in the United States of America. I know that this place I will enjoy for a vacation and some beautiful sight seeing of the place.

I would like to go to California. After that, I would like to camp in Yosemite for a few days. I like the outdoors and there are so many things to do in California. The weather is really good there too, so even if I can't get time off in the season when I would prefer to go on vacation, I will still enjoy my time there.

I don't think I could choose just one place to visit in America. I have been to New York, Florida and I worked in North Carolina. When I worked In America I really wanted to travel around but due to family problems I had to return to England early. America is such a big place and there is so many amazing places to see. My top four would have to be San Francisco because it seems like it's a place where dreams are made, Las Vegas because I love Blackpool and Vegas is bigger, better and tackier , Alaska because to me it seems a world away from everywhere else and Boston as I have heard it is a better version of New York. I have just thought of another place, Miami, but I feel I would need to be bikini ready to go rollerskating down the beach front!!!

Clearly I think I need to win the lottery and spend a year visiting every state.

Same here NY is one of my top destinations when I'm asked what place of the united states I'd love go sightseeing. The main reason is this place has sooo many iconic places to visit! There are so many interesting things to see there, and I'm a big fan of photography, so I think this place is a top destination... worth visiting at least once!
