There are many nice day hikes that you can go to in New England, especially with the Appalachian mountains there. If your a bit more daring, I would recommend Mt. Washington as a hike that you must do, especially because of its neat whether (non storm winds of 231mph recorded at the top), however, 231mph winds are insane, and it definitely is one of the riskier climbs possible for you to take out there.

Snake Mountain in Vermont is a great hike perfect for all abilities. At the summit you are rewarded with sweeping vies of the Champlain Valley and the Adirondacks with plenty of place to picnic or just sit and enjoy the view. For a more challenging hike, try Mt. Hunger in Waterbury, VT. The views are spectacular. This hike will take apx. 4 hours.

Yeah! All you have shared good information about New England. Green Mountains is the best hiking place of Vermont. Vermont is a nice state of US. There are very amazing summer activities for hiking lovers. Such as: hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. I personally visited there during my tour life and enjoyed their activities.
