Thread: Best New York City Destinations

I'm going to New York City next weekend and am wondering what the best museums and other attractions there are. I've been several times but haven't gotten to do much of the touristy stuff since I usually visit friends. Suggestions?

You can see the famous statue of liberty in Staten Island. Check the Brooklyn bridge at night. It's beautiful. You can also see the Time's square, Central park and St. Patrick's cathedral. These are some of the places you can see in New York. You can also go shopping.

NYC has so much stuff it's hard to pick. Luckily it's very walkable so you can see quite a lot if it.

The empire state building and the statue of liberty are both must-sees because they combine a landmark and an awesome view.

But some of my best memories from my last trip were just walking; along the Hudson, down 5th Ave, through Central Park.

I have walked over the Brooklyn Bridge which is quite fun. I have walked the entire Central Park, there are so many things to see and do in the park. Empire State Building, museum of natural history, art museum, shopping, you can take a boat tour around the island, the bus tours are hop on hop off and are good to see the different areas. You can get tickets to talk shows being filmed, times square, statue of liberty, ride the staten island ferry in the evening, the view of the city is spectacular with the lights. The first time I went to New York we were outside for a week there is just so much to look at and take in, seemed a waste to go inside building's and miss it.

Aaah, walking across a major bridge! I've always wanted to do that, though more likely the Golden Gate. Bit jealous actually, the views must have been wonderful!

the view was spectacular, especially looking down, you can see the traffic below you and if you keep looking you see the river below that.

Central Park, Time Square these are the NY city's destinations.

NYC is one of the safest cities in the US Of course and central park is one of the famous destination in NYC mostly tourist attract toward the park due to its beauty..

Florida and los vegas are the two most destination in newyork city.

I would suggest you to visit these places in new york.

Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building, Metropolitan museum of art, and Times Square. For good restaurants you can go to China Town and Little Italy and Times Square.
Most of the New York will get covered after covering these main tourist attractions.
