I travel for the food for sure. When I went to NY,I spent a lot of times trying out the places to eat in Main Street.
Was the food you received tasty?

I definitely eat out the majority of the time. One of my favorite ways to explore a new place is through its food so I think it's worth the money! That being said, I definitely try to stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables to snack on throughout the day and to have something for when I'm just lounging at my hotel/hostel.

It depends upon the timing and situation. Some time I packed food for home and if i hungry more then I eat food at outside.

We tend to mainly eat out however, we do pack a snack bag. I have two children that constantly think they are starving plus I have a infant that needs his food along the way, too. I find that stopping ever so often to eat gets expensive but it helps us all to get out and move around before we start back our journey.

I like to bring snacks with me and continually eat them while I am out. If i'm doing a lot of walking then I buy a hotdog or something similar from one of those vendors on the street. Sandwiches are good but in the USA I stayed in a hotel without access to a fridge so storing ingredients for a sandwich was too difficult. Cereal bars are ideal and that kept me going for quite a while.

I totally agreed with you shamunmicheal99! A visitor must enjoy the food of that place where is going to visit. it also a part of our journey. Secondly, eat fresh and keep fresh pack food is not so much suitable or if you are more conscious about it then you could take some fruits with you. But this is just for the journey duration.

alycat32! I think that eating out is much better than to pack some food and carry with you. I always love to eat food outside, I think it's a very nice thing to taste different taste. You get award with the taste of food of different countries or
    places.

yeah having some health snacks on traveling, is a good idea. I also prefer to eat light things not so much heavier eating on my journey's. Because i am not a foody person. But most of time i do prefer to buy them simultaneously from the way.

For camping or picnic we can pack a little bit food with us, but for other places it's better if we use restaurants or hotels for proper meal.

yeah! I do agree with you and will say that Matthew! for a picnic, we should try to pack food, juices and cakes and something for enjoyment. it is really a best way of fun for me and surely i will try that after my grand canyon south rim bus tours. i am so sure that this would be a good way of fun for all others too. keep going guys.
