    Cruise ships-Finding your dream boat

Usually people who have never gone on a cruise will focus on where the cruise is going rather than on the ship itself. Different cruise lines and even different ships within the same cruise company vary when it comes to facilities as well as atmosphere. Some have a spa and fitness theme while others a party-round-the-clock ambiance. Still others are ideal for a family fun vacation complete with amusement park type rides and theme characters. It would be best to consult a travel agent that specializes in cruising. Be honest about your likes, dislikes as well as your budget. Why don't you share how you found your dream boat?

I went on a cruise in my early 20's on the Cunard lines. It was a Carribean tour (San Juan, Barbados, Martinique, St Lucia) and a group of girls I knew were going and invited me. It was more of a round the clock thing then, but the destinations were all beautiful. That was a long while back but I will say even though I would not be a first timer I would most likely choose the destination rather than the line, but I am sure things have updated since then. I just really want to do an Alaska or British Columbia cruise and the line would not matter.

I haven't yet, but it's something that I have given a lot of thought to! lol. My husband and I would love to go on one sometime . Not really much for the party all night group....maybe a little spa time? . Justusforus, that sounds incredible. Can't go wrong with the Carribeans right?

My dream cruise ship is probably "The World". It's actually a private residential community, who live on the ship as it travels the globe. I figure, if I am going to see parts of the world via ship, why not pick one that I can live on full-time?

Living on a boat? It's an interesting concept but I don't think I could do it! I'd rather fly around the world .

I haven't found my Dream Boat yet!! In the past few years I have entertained the thought of one day going on a Cruise liner. If I was to go on one it would not be so much for the places I'm going or the theme of the Cruise, but who I was spending that time with. It would have to be someone very special and who wants to enjoy the Cruise with me. I have heard that they can be quite eventful and the experience somewhat impressive. We shall see if I get to enjoy 1 Cruise before I die. I guess you can say I have that on my "Bucket list"!!

I am a Disney fanatic so when we decided we wanted to take a cruise to Alaska this summer, there was no doubt in my mind that it was going to be a Disney cruise. I am so happy that we made that decision because we had the most wonderful vacation we have ever been on before! If you have small children(mine were 4 and 6 at the time of our cruise) I would highly recommend choosing the Disney Cruise Line. There is something for everyone to experience on the ship and the service is so impressive. My husband and I enjoyed our alone time while the kids had an incredible time playing in the kids clubs and meeting all of the characters. There is no doubt in my mind that I would take another Disney Cruise. It was the best vacation ever!
